Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

No complaints but the stairs were steep when lugging suitcases.
Very nice room with updated bathroom. Had everything one would want. The continental breakfast was more than one could expect for the reasonable room rate.

Walls/ceilings were a bit thin so I heard loud footsteps at 12am from noisy neighbors.
The price was good, parking was free and it’s located near Aspen and other cool attractions without the price tag. Rooms were clean and had basic needs met.

Too much chlorine on the swimming pool which unable me to use it. I'll suggest to switch to bromine which is a way better choice for indoor pools

Guests above us were noisy, stomping.
Walk out first floor was nice. Indoor pool was great as was breakfast. Close to town for walking.

The room we had didn’t have AC which for a big group was not ideal. Also, our room floor seemed to slant down for some reason. breakfast was limited and not too great

I wasnt expecting to be able to hear the guests in the room above mine. For the most part they respected the quiet hours—but still heavy footed and loud convos
Cozy lodge within distance to lots of shops and food—even directly across the street from Starbucks. Parking was a bit tricky sometimes but since it’s not a giant property no spot was ever super far away. Ac/heat worker amazing and the temperature was always perfect.

The sink backed up and the flooring choice for the rooms is very loud

Maybe a little more variety for the breakfast items.
This motel is well located just south of the downtown (Grand Avenue) part of Glenwood Springs. It is a little far to walk to downtown, but is only a 5-minute drive. The motel complex as a whole is very clean and neat. I didn't see any trash anywhere. There was adequate parking and it was easy to find a space. The Wi-Fi throughout the property worked well. The room was well appointed and spotless. It included a handy microwave and mini-fridge. The beds were comfortable. The bathroom & shower were very clean. The shower was hot and there were no water issues. We did hear a little noise from the neighboring room, but it wasn't bad. Of course, one had to deal with the annoying hotel door slamming that seems to happen everywhere (not much that one can do about that). The motel has an indoor & an outdoor pool. Since it was March when we visited, the outdoor pool was closed. The indoor pool was warm enough and relatively good-sized. The pool hours were 7am–9pm. The indoor whirlpool was hot and there is also a sauna (that I didn't use). The pool area was clean and neat. The breakfast area is open from 6am-9am and served a continental breakfast. Bagels, pastries, oatmeal, cereal, hard-boiled eggs, yogurt, etc. It was pretty good but could get a bit old if you were staying for an extended period. The breakfast attendant really took pride in his job and kept the breakfast items well stocked. The seating area was clean, and the attendant kept the tables turning. This is a no-frills, locally run, motel that does a great job running the property. I would happily stay again in the future.

Our room was in a corner an it was dark. Internet service wasn't great there. I have been at this place before and it wasn't an issue in the past.
Super clean and comfortable. Location was great. Close to the ski resort road. Eating options available close by. Breakfast was good.

Breakfast was mediocre. The room was extremely cold and it took us almost 2 hours of heat turned on to be ok for us.
