Powdered eggs?!! Yuck!

The person who checked me in only authorized my key card for one day. So upon returning after a long day with my hands full I had to trudge downstairs to find out why I could not enter my room. The pool area floats could have been a less worn and maybe different sizes. I was surprised that the towels in the pool area were not washed the whole time I was there. On Sunday morning I went to the desk to let the attendant know there were only two towels left. He was busy on his phone and didn't do anything about it. When I checked out I mentioned it and he put his phone down long enough to say that housekeeping would take care of that when they came in. He said there is probably some extra in the closet. I suggested he check and put them out for the guests wanting to use the pool.

I loved having an indoor pool to exercise in before and after my class.

Fridge had to be exchanged, washing machine and dryer hadn’t worked for months, only one ice maker in 3 worked and only one lift operational.

Tired. No phone in our room. At check in the young lady either had poor training or did not care. Set in a commercial area, the hotel had no signage at the road to tell us where to enter. The hotel is not visible from the road

The bathroom was too small. The vanity needs to meet the walls so items don't fall off as I move things around. The bathroom floor was sticky. 😬. The cloth chair had visible water marks and a stain right where your patootie would be. The seating area was very cold and requires a shade on the walls other than white to make it more comfortable. I called for a wake up call. No answer the first time after ringing 20 times. My second call was answered within 10 rings, i heard a voice. It took him 2 times before I understood his accent that he was saying something like "Country Inn....". I asked for a 5:30 wake-up time, however, after 5:45 the next morning that call had not arrived so I took the phone off the cradle. My partner said the breakfast offerings were very good. Bacon, sausage and eggs were good, and the waffle was thick and delicious. Online reservation said I'd pay for the room upon arrival, however, found my room was paid for upon arrival. Overall, would stay here again.

The sheets had a stain, I asked for a new set and changed it myself, housekeeper was not available. The pool was not operational, again. Parking lot was small.

The larger room was nice. The breakfast was good. The room had a microwave and fridge. No bugs.

Front entrance access was roped off to Main Lobby and the Convenience Shop inside was VERY limited (didn’t look like the pics online)

Convenience off I-75. And sets off major road, so was quiet during the night.

No warning that the pool was inoperable. That was part of the reason we wanted to stay at this particular one--indoor pool.

Convenient location (use of back roads), breakfast provided, not a huge hotel.

I was disappointed that the orange juice was broken the entire time I was there. Also, the carpets were quite stained -- which I expect is from having animals stay.

I was happy that there was a hot breakfast with two options. The price was good for me.
