I wish the breakfast had more protein like eggs and sausage, but it wasn't a deal breaker. I was concerned about the cleanliness of our room, so I went to Walmart and purchased Lysol wipes. The bed was hard and uncomfortable.

The gentleman at the front desk was very friendly and kind. The breakfast was pretty decent. They had cereal, waffles, pancakes, etc. Location was good for us. LOVED the hot tub in the room.

Having to hold an extra $100 deposit on my card on top of the payment, there were bugs in my room, there was hair in the bathroom which was dirty, there wasn't a hair dryer or extra toilet paper, the bedding had holes and was worn. Not a great location whcih I was unfamiliar with when booking.

The Carpet

The king suite with Jacuzzi was nice well lit and cozy. Mostly up to date and clean

Elevator was not working and my room was changed to the ground floor and was near side exit. The door slammed all evening until around 2:30 am and started again at 5:30 am. I didn't get much sleep.

Bathroom drain didn’t drain properly; very slow. Elevator still inop and all the stairwell doors slammed loud opening and closing. My bed sheets were stained.

The breakfast: proper set up and room. There was also an egg station in the morning (you could get your own choice of omelette cooked).

Locks into the building were not good. Stayed open after closing. Lock to room had to be really slammed to lock otherwise it looked locked but really wasn't. Someone in room next to us banged really hard on door connecting to our door. Got really scared. We barricaded the inner room door to feel safe. Needless to say, had a sleepless night. I did call front desk and I believe she took care of the unruly person. When we got to the hotel about 7pm, all the outside lights were off. I asked why and she said something about the timer. And the elevator wasn't working. All these things made for uneasy feeling in the hotel.

Breakfast and Halloween decor was good. Lady at the desk helpful.

Let's talk about meat.... During one of my stays, the choice of the day was bread.There was toast, muffins, bagels, a waffle maker, a pancake maker, and the hot food that was brought out were biscuits. I think the hotel could benefit from combining meat to the continental breakfast. Other than that I had a nice stay.

Me and my partner had a very nice stay. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. The staff were friendly. My partner and I look forward to visit st petersburg in the future.

We received an email about 10 days before our arrival, stating the elevator was broken, and they were doing everything to get it fixed. The day we arrived it was still broken and we were told they were hoping to have it fixed the following week. Our group of 4 are all over 65, and I was told the only room available was room 218 on the second floor. The very next day we were given room 101 on the first floor, which was much better. I was surprised we were not offered some type of discount both for being seniors and the fact the elevator was still out of order. When we left the hotel 5 days later the elevator was still out of order. The ownership bears responsibility for this issue, and it makes it much more difficult for both the staff and the consumer to be displaced for such a long period of time. NO EXCUSE!!!

The staff was excellent and the complimentary breakfast was as well. We enjoyed the variety offered at breakfast and the 24 hour hot coffee/tea. The front desk personnel were knowledgeable and worked with us regarding the non working elevator as best they could.

The hotel is dated. Our sink in the bathroom was slow to drain. The water in the shower was not hot.

The elevator was offline. Instead of offering to help move gear and equipment upstairs as a courtesy for the elevator being offline, it was offered at an additional charge. No courtesy was offered outside of an initial apology.

Friendly and courteous staff. The cookies are a great touch.

Housekeeper had an attitude very rude , called the front desk for washcloths & Towels housekeeper never brought them had to go to reception desk & ask personally
