You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

I found parking on the street and informed the front desk, that I did not use the garage for the two nights there. When I got the itemized bill they had charged me $12 for each night and had not removed the charge.

United States of AmericaThe hotel parking was horrendous! It was extremely hot in the lobby and throughout the entire hotel! I had the worst sleep in my life at a Marriot! The bed was uncomfortable, my back was extremely sore after sleeping and the air conditioning was so inconsistent it gave me sinus issues! I will NOT be back!
I just needed a place to stay. So I was able to have a safe place to rest during my road trip! The staff were all extremely professional and friendly!

The staff was great. I love the old historic buildings. This is a new hotel in a historic building. It was comfortable but historic.

United States of AmericaThe listing said that there was a restaurant, I came in needing something decent to eat after a long drive. Fixing the listing would be helpful, I could have stopped on the way.
Upon arriving the front desk, Cindy, was incredible kind and helpful. She went over and beyond and made me feel like I was at home. The view was great, the bed was comfy and the space in the room was aesthetically pleasing. It was a perfect landing place after visiting family during a time of loss.

Very rude staff. Stayed with my finance for a wedding and they made us feel horrible. I had my service animal with me, and they said he was barking while we were out of the room. We stepped out for no longer than 30 min not to mention the event was 1 block away so when they called to let us know about the complaint, I was back in the room within 3 min exactly. They didn’t realize that we had a camara in the room to monitor my service dog. He only barked 2 times as someone walked by. The whole experience was terrible. All and all we did not want to cause trouble so we told them that we would not leave him alone anymore that night and go ahead and check out early in the morning. they agreed then called our room 15 min later and told us never mind you must leave. disgusting, oh and still charged us for the entire stay.

United States of AmericaWhen I informed hotel clerk that the bath did not drain and my wife and I had to stand in standing water and the toilet stopped flushing her IMMEDIATE response was, oh I’m sorry I could’ve done something about it like comped the whole room but you booked through a third-party. Sounds like just another super lame excuse they are READY and trained for. Wasn’t I standing in your hotel???????? Do you think booking through a third-party really matters one single bit to a customer? How does that even make sense anyway? I’m standing in the lobby of a Marriott. Didn’t they get paid from the third-party or did they get gypped too? Don’t think so. Like I said, sounds like just another lame excuse. Then continued to say oh well I can knock your $12 parking “in a dilapidated parking garage” off which she never did. Then said wellllllll “and looked around” you can have a bunch of free stuff as far as our drinks and candy section but again never offered. Who wants candy first thing in the morning for breakfast besides a child? NOT a good choice of hotel.

She said said keep driving. Just left and headed to sweetwater. Lost our money for the room. But safty always comes first.
