Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Everything was great except the room cost was a little high but it may have been due to us staying when the Total Solar Eclipse was happening.
The staff were kind, friendly and professional. The room was spacious, very clean and comfortable. The close proximity to the Indianapolis Motor Speedway is fantastic.

Room was VERY dusty. Bedside lamps were sloppily taped/“repaired” Thick layers of dust around the baseboards, beds, refrigerator. Kitchen was out of service so we couldn’t order food

We were given a handicap accessible room that we did not request! The shower was AWFUL! I'll make sure that doesn't happen again. A nice fresh free cup of coffee in the morning would be nice. Starbucks is in the lobby but it's not free!

The smoke alarm going off (false alarm) and because of business we had little sleep.
The staff was friendly and helpful. I had numerous packages sent there, and they joked that I was the infamous Michelle bc of all the packages. We had a good laugh about it. It was a blessing to me to be able to ship them there.

I booked for another hotel than the one I got, someone clicked the wrong thing in booking.com they told me. The hotel I was located in was 5 min drive from the other one and was just open. The main air system made a lot of noise and couldn't be turned off. I was lucky that I could sleep with earplugs. Staff did their best but couldn't solve it. Water of shower on first night had almost no pressure, this was solved in 2nd night. I give them praise and understanding since it was the first night of the hotel and usually not everything is perfect when something is just open. I found it to be very pricy but that is probably because it was the last hotel available and I booked in the day of Indy 500. I found the breakfast to be a bit unhealthy - please provide just regular cooked eggs and some baked off round breads next time please.
I was lucky stayed here during Indy 500 location is perfect you can walk to the speeding track from the hotel in 40 mins. Hotel was just open. I was welcomed with a small gift bag to celebrate the opening of the hotel. Staff is very friendly and welcoming. Room was very big. I even got 2 beds haha. Bed and sheets were of high quality. Gym was great. Gym could use maybe an extra bench and machines but all was brand new and you can train your whole body with equipment present. Complimentary tea and coffee is nice.

Price.... I had stayed at another courtyard 2 days before for $100 less

The breakfast was very expensive and not great value for the money. I liked the convenience but wish there were more options or the food was better for what we paid.
The staff at this location are wonderful! We arrived late at night with two sleeping young kids and everyone we interacted with with so kind and helpful. The hotel was clean, comfortable and convenient.

The hotel was noisy at night with a high cost. Needed a soft drink, service at counter was very slow and costly. Had an early airline flight and breakfast wasn't early enough.

Don't like the open shower with no door. Easy for staff to clean but it is cold in the shower and water splashes out.
Love the one bedroom suite with televisions in both rooms and the darkening window shades for late sleepers!
