Staff member who checked me in was initially not very accommodating and understanding of an error in my name in the reservation that they had in their system. This error was generated somewhere in the transfer of data from Booking.com to Courtyard Marriott. The data that my husband input to Booking.com was correct. Either Booking.com muffed the pass or Courtyard Marriott muffed the catch of that data.

The sink in my room began leaking which left the floor soaking wet. They were quick to fix it but I went through a lot of pairs of socks during the stay.

Room was spacious, plenty of room for me and my big dog to stay.

There is no Tea or complementary water in the room, only coffee. We prefer to drink tea than coffee, so we have to buy from cafeteria at the lobby.

The staff, Arini Cerbone, is very nice, friendly and super helpful.

The room was not cleaned adequately prior to my arrival. There was dried urine on the toilet seat when I walked in. There was a dipping sauce left in the fridge from a previous guest. The television speakers are beginning to fail and the fridge doesn't get cold at all. Hopefully these things are improved before the hotel takes a turn for the worse.

The location was good for the activities I was attending. Also within an hour drive of Ohare Airport.

When I walked into my room I had purchased cold food items. There was no area to adjust the cooling so I called the front desk to ask for another fridge to be brought up. My only option was to move to another room, which I wasn't willing to do. The lady at the front desk then suggested I try opening the cabinet door to make the comprssor kick in, which actually worked, to some extent. I was also not happy about the fact that a microwave was not available and in order to heat food I would have to go down to the lobby!! Needless to say this was rather humiliating as I was in my pajamas. At the rate being charged you could at least have a microwave in some of the rooms ,upon request maybe? On my last evening I had a Ocean Spray Cranberry drink and when I woke up the next morning the drinking glass was crawling with hundreds of ants in and on the night table and in my bed. It was rather disturbing, however I was in such a hurry I just rinsed the glass and checked out. I meant to inform the front desk but failed to do so and am now informing you of the problem.

I did like the location, the exercise room, comfortable beds, and air quality.

We had booked a double Queen room. When we got there, they only had king with sofa bed available. We had 2 adults and 3 kids but we made it work. It was very cramped. Also, the main reason we booked was because it had a pool for the kids. The pool was closed. That would have been nice to know beforehand. I’m not sure if the issues were because we used booking.com and the details weren’t relayed between them and the hotel or what.

The hotel was good. The staff was friendly.

When I arrived, they had my name mixed up. My first name was last and last name was first. Then the faucet in the bathroom was nasty with green soap scum as well as the shower head. Then the fire sprinkler was dusty! Tear in room carpet. Wobbly table in room. Bedsheet seemed too small for mattress. The housekeeping did NOT come replenish my towels, make my bed or empty my FULL trash when I was gone 7 hours. The elevator was broken. The noise was loud from the people next to me. The fridge hummmmmed all night long. Need to update to USB charging outlets. The bar was not open, ever. No breakfast was offered to me at all. The concierge refused to offer to deliver toothpaste to my room that I requested.

I appreciated the bed, it was comfy and the dark curtains kept the light out. I loved that they had streaming options like Netflix etc. I cannot think of another good things.
