Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

TurkeyThe elevator! I laid many eggs over the 5 days of staying in this hotel as it takes forever for it to come. Just two elevators operating for tons of people trying to get somewhere, there isnt a separate service elevator so you often squeeze with things being moved around. All in all; there is not much to worry other than the elevator and the non existent lobby.
Very clean, well located, reasonably sized room for NYC. Stayed in the Queen room with a view, I wouldnt recommend a room w/o view as it would feel cooped up.

PortugalInitially I messaged the hotel via booking.com to book a taxi between the hotel and airport and the communication was very poor, however they answered all my other questions perfectly. We had an issue with our toilet that got blocked. Not the happiest moment but they fixed it and didn't happen again during our stay. Shame that the lobby is small. There are two elevators and it's true that sometimes you might have to wait a bit for it.
I am very pleased for choosing this Hotel after our original hotel got cancelled. We found this hotel as a last minute choice and at a very good price for the location. The location is perfect, at a short walk distance from time square and many other attractions. Get the app go city pass and you can explore the whole city at a reasonable price. The room was comfortable, with tea and coffee facilities and a mini fridge. The shampoo and shower gel also very good. The bed and towels were replaced everyday (5xnights). there is a basic supermarket next door in case you want to buy some food. We didn't have breakfast in the hotel and the restaurant is located on the 7th floor. The room had a good size TV and air conditioning. The room was big enough for us (standard room). The street was calm and safe. Not noisy overnight. Ignore the negative comments about bad smell because you can smell that all over the city. I felt totally safe there. The staff was very friendly and smiling. They kept out luggage until we could check-in. Can't wait to go back!

IrelandThe room and hotel itself was a bit small, but that is to be expected in nyc! We didn’t spend much time there so we didn’t mind too much as it was a great location to explore. Elevators sometimes were busy.
Great location - just across from radio city music hall! Room was small but clean and modern. Cleaned well everyday by the cleaning staff. Loved we had Netflix in the room. Real plus to chill out and watch favourite shows after a long day of walking everywhere! Also lovely staff, the front desk received a package for me and kept it safe until I could get it off them. Would recommend to anyone who is in NYC to explore the city!

United States of AmericaI’m not sure if it was a miscommunication somewhere, but my reservation was for a King room, but I only had a Queen. I was too tired to ask about it, and it was still cheaper than a lot of the others, so I let it go, especially considering the convenience of the location. The room was very small, which wasn’t a huge deal for me and my daughter, we made it work. Also, there weren’t any outlets near the bed, which I thought was kinda strange, but we improvised.
The location was absolutely perfect if you want to stay in Midtown. The staff was very friendly, and the bed was comfy.

QatarSmall lobby area, anyone can access the elevator as there’s no card key swipe inside, so a bit of safety concern. As well didn’t notice cameras on the floor where the rooms are.
Amazing location, hidden spot in the 5th Ave, just behind Victoria’s Secret. Modern room, comfortable bed, clean, strong AC, staff is super friendly and helpful, def value for the money.

TurkeyThere is only one fixed shower head in the shower, there is no handshower. The room is small, but considering the NYC standards it is tolerable. Two bottles of water is provided free of charge on the first day, on other days you should pay for it.
Perfect location in the heart of Midtown between 5th and 6th avenues. Just steps away to many must-see attractions of NYC like MoMa, the Rockefeller Center, Radio City Hall, St.Patrick’s Cathedral. Also walking distance to Times Square and Central Park. The room service cleans the room and changes the towels daily. The front desk is responsive and kind.
