Floors weren’t very clean. We asked in receipt in and they told us they mopped daily but our feet kept turning black walking around the room. We also asked for staff to check the cameras when we though our car got damaged but didn’t get any response

The bed was like sleeping on a wooden plank, but the pillows made up for it a bit. Wish we had more pillows or at least a better mattress. The TV also didn't work that well, the remote wasn't really working and it barely had any channels available. The nightly rate was high for what we received but for it being a short notice stay I guess we can't really complain. We will probably not be staying there again though unless we absolutely can't find something else better in the area.

I loved that the floors were tile and the bathroom was big and spacious. They accepted dogs and were quick with our check in.

Nothing, wait, we did get back to the motel at 1am in the morning and their people drinking in a truck with the gate open.

Everything. There were bugs in the first room, then when we asked for another room, there were bugs there as well. When we went outside to ask for a different room, there were two cop cars conducting an arrest in the parking lot. We didn't stay either night because it seemed both unsanitary and unsafe, but they still charged me for a night.

Pretty much everything else. I’ve been coming to this hotel for the past 20 years. We used to hold our Family Reunions at Kelly’s Beach (now The House) but my whole family has noticed that over the years the staff has obliviously changed but changed for the bad. Unfriendly, unapproachable, unprofessional staff and cleaning crew. The hotel itself is very rundown. Internet is horrible, the grounds are always dirty, the rooms feel grimy and the pillows and towels feel and look outdated. I’ve stayed in cheaper motels with better facilities and overall experience than the Edgewater. Sad to see it neglected and rundown.

cleanliness - the floor was extremely dirty. When I complained at the reception. The manager said there is no service at that point in time and she gave the mop to me I ended up mopping and cleaning myself as I have kids who could play on the floor. Wifi was spotty and breakfast was not continental at all

Pet peeve: When you opened the door to LEAVE it room, the overwhelming stench of cigarettes and beer. A designated smoking area away from the rooms / stairwells would be nice. The pool could use a good cleaning and the jacuzzi was green with slime. Not sure if it worked. With green water, we didn't check to see.

The rooms were clean and comfortable. Somewhat outdated, but there are renovations being done. The staff was very nice.
