The bed was very firm for us. Something a little softer would have been better but this is just my preference.

This is my favorite hotel in Chula Vista and Southbay Area. It is a vintage building lovingly preserved and owned by a wonderful family. No matter how many times I stay there, I never want to leave!

Great value. Historic hotel located within walking distance of many unique restaurants and bars. The rooms are small but if you are looking for something more unique than a Holiday Inn-type hotel chain, this place is a very good choice. It is owned and operated by a friendly, kind and caring family. You feel good about supporting them.

Could use a slight remodel but still accommodating.

Lovely little hotel. I was traveling to town for a concert and this was a great, affordable option. Very close to everything with an amazing staff. Would go back if I’m ever in town again.

Lovely hotel. Karen, the manager, was extraordinarily helpful and friendly. She recommended an excellent Italian restaurant short walk from the hotel.

The only issue we ran into was that the parking lot was full when we returned at night and had to find street parking in a nearby neighborhood.

The staff was super welcoming and treats you like a friend. The historical aspect of the building is interesting.

The family that runs the hotel couldn't do enough for us while we were there. It was so nice and quiet. Chula Vista is a great little city to stay in. Easy to get around and only a few miles from downtown San Diego.

The bathroom is small and there isn't much space to put things on BUT we were reminded that the building was built in the 1930's, so this makes sense!! Still loved our stay :)

I loved how clean our room was and the location was so convenient. It was close to restaurants and a beautiful commercial strip. The staff were friendly and the structure of the building itself was so neat.

A family run business. Lowly people ! They are caring , helpful and very friends. Parking included is amazing. Good options for restaurants nearby on walking distance. Having to go all around to the other side of the building to get to the door where are you could gain entrance. My room is upstairs there is no elevator. I am in good shape so it didn’t bother me, but someone else may have an issue with the stairs, and any bags they may have to carry up those stairs.
