Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Unfortunately to gain access to the building was limited as the corner entrance way was being altered (construction). For the room the upper bathroom would have been a lot better if it had a shower instead of just a bathtub and if the toilet would have been in the bathroom and not the closet that would have been better. As it was I had to go to the shower on the main floor each day. Not the end of the world but for what I paid for the room not what I would have expected. In the kitchen a slightly larger fridge would have been preferred.
I liked the room. I had the loft which was good including the balcony. The breakfast was actually very nice and the tables were always clean and the staff was very attentive.

Parking was very expensive, as well as room accommodations. Asked for repair of bathroom door handle, along with fixing the deadbolt lock and clean up of old pizza crust and glitter left behind from previous guest(s).
Breakfast met all of our expectations. Great variety of Breakfast items, and staff were very efficient. Ample seating area.

It’s a negative that there’s no main entrance to the hotel from the street. It requires walking up stairs thru the parking ramp. Also, it clearly states free breakfast and free parking. We had to pay additional $80 to park. It’s on the website. False advertising.
The rooms are beautiful. Clean and spacious. The general manager Mike was a great leader. It shows in his staffs attitude. They’re all very nice and friendly. Jeff at the bar, was great and made the best Chocolate Martinis. Enjoyed our stay!

The pool and hot tub were both down for maintenance the entire trip. It was one of the main reasons I chose there for my Son.

Breakfast - the biscuits (biscuits & gravy) were quite hard - couldn't even cut with a knife. There was only one working elevator at the time we were there. They were working on it the day we left so there was quite a bit of noise in the morning.
Room was comfortable. The bartender at cocktail hour was very pleasant and helpful in sharing thoughts about the city and local restaurants.

Was first time , Had to drive around the building a couple times then , had to call because signage for where to check in wasn’t necessarily easy to find along with where to park.

The room wasn’t clean till I left. They didn’t come to ask if we needed towels or if we wanted our trash picked up. We had to call and ask. And the $50 a day parking that we had to park for. That was extra expensive we weren’t expecting and we were told online that parking was free.
I love the breakfast, staff was very friendly, they messaged you frequently to check on you. I love the evening complimentary drinks and snacks. Free and the indoor pool and hot tub awesome.

We had a very hard time figuring out how to get into the hotel. It was very frustrating, the parking garage had a small green E. It would be helpful to have a large sign right in the parking garage clearly marking the hotel entrance. We talked to other people they also had issues figuring out where to go.

Remodeling going on in lobby and it wasn't convenient for guests to get around. Staff was courteous and helped when they were visible.
Location was good and walkable to Gainbridge Fieldhouse. Room was spacious for all guests.
