Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

South KoreaThe lobby can get too crowded. It was chaotic. There was only one trash can, in the bathroom. I wished there were at least one more trash can in the living room.

United States of AmericaThe valet fee is too high. Also, there was a slight smell (stale) when we entered our room.
The breakfast was delicious. The attendants were constantly restocking and cleaning. Our kids enjoyed the city view room. The front desk staff were all nice during our check-in and checkout. I also liked how the hotel staff were quick to respond to concerns, and they contacted us via text message.

United States of AmericaThe room, while very clean, needs to be upgraded, especially the bathroom.
The staff was very nice. Two standouts were Samantha at the front desk and Tyrek at the valet station. The restaurant needs more staff, especially in the kitchen and at valet station. Great location for attending anything at the Convention Center or Amalie Arena.

United States of AmericaWe were there for 4 nights and we never received housekeeping or even clean towels. The pool and fitness center are extremely small. There isn’t enough space on nice days for everyone who wants to be outside. Our travel was delayed due to plane issues. We arrived early the next morning instead of at night. Even though I communicated with the hotel, we were told our room had been sold. We had to sleep at the pool until 2:45 pm before our room was ready. I prepaid for our trip through Priceline. The front desk staff then charged my credit card for the remaining three nights that we stayed. When I called to ask for help, the front desk staff was extremely rude and said, “how would I know that you prepaid for your room?” I ended up emailing the hotel and a manager apologized for the mix up and refunded me. It was quite a stressful 48 hours thinking that I may have to pay for the trip twice.
The location to everything is excellent-restaurants, grocery store, Riverwalk, trolley, etc. The room was spacious and clean. The beds are extremely comfortable. The bar/restaurant in the hotel is excellent and the staff are helpful and friendly.

United States of AmericaThe room wasn’t cleaned daily. We had to call for towels on multiple days. The AC wasn’t working properly. They had someone check it twice but they didn’t fix it. We ended up sleeping with a box fan. They said the pool was heated but it was freezing.

United States of AmericaThe property is dated and showing its age. The mandatory valet service without a self-park option is disappointing. The message system to retrieve our car was inconsistent in its operation. We were late for an appointment because the text didn’t go through. We were advised by the staff that it occurs frequently. The morning breakfast was awkward and not up to the standards we experienced in other Embassy Suites. While the staff was wonderful and worked hard to be accommodating, the space both for food and seating cannot handle the number of guests. Having to eat in the lobby balancing a plate on your lap while people are coming in and out of the hotel entrance was neither relaxing nor enjoyable. Our last comment concerns the sales people pushing for Vacation Club reservations while at both the managers reception and then again during breakfast. Their behavior was not offensive nor rude. However we thought it was very bad form certainly not the type of experience we would expect from Hilton..
The location as well as the manager reception and morning breakfast were the primary reasons.
