The PRICE WAS WAY TOO HIGH FOR SENIORS. I didn’t get the email til we were checking out. Nearly $400 for 1 night because of a concert. WE didn’t go for a concert. Wouldnt offer a discount.

Place is a little dated , but still was nice. One thing I did notice that there must have been some roofing done not to long ago, because there were a lot of roofing nails in the handicap parking area. Lucky we didn't get any in our tires.

I went there 3 tines to check in the day of 1st of July . The first time it was little after 2pm to see the room was ready it wasn't. I had 2 sick ppl needs to lay down . The person told me come back at 3 . So I did my still my room wasn't ready yet. They told me come in couple hours. It should be ready then. . I asked them since I wait so long to get my room do I get a discount. . I was told that they would .( the boy at the counter(( "Josh" ) it will give me $20, off my bill. Plus he also told me that he will tell his manager about it . To give me more. The day I was checking out they gave me $10 off not what I was told. Very disappointed I was lied to. Also they short staff ( housekeeping) that weekend. Knowing it's 4th of July weekend people are on vacation that week

The bed was a king, firm, not too comfortable, and I felt I needed more pillows and I felt like I was sleeping with my head lower than my feet. The room was not detailed daily for cleaning, but maybe that is the case everywhere, not enough staff. No coffee available in lobby after 3 pm, some folks would like this, I like an afternoon coffee ; the check in is at 3 PM; no coffee. Another couple inquired for the need for coffee too, but none was available. The front desk clerk says it is only available at breakfast time when I asked. No up to date newspapers to read. We checked in 10-27-22, and the most recent newspaper was dated 10-20-22. The billing for these rooms and for what you get is overpriced; and the charges to my banking account are a concern, 3 different charges, but the front desk clerk when I called today , 10-31-22 says I was only charged $ 921.16 for the 3 day stay. I will await to see how this pans out, otherwise if an error, it will be checked into further.

Breakfast was great, but would have liked to have more fruit, ex: banana, apples, oranges ( they did have mixed cocktail fruit ). The food was hot, but as day progresses from breakfast to end of it, the food items become less to pick from. The wifi access and computer usage in the lobby was nice to have. I booked this stay 1 day earlier due to incoming rain, and I'm waiting to find out about the 3 charges assigned me for the room, 1 was on 10-28-22 for $970.00, a charge of 390.34 on 10-28-22, & another on 10-31-22 for 921.16. I was there only 3 days, and booked this visit through booking.com . I called the motel in Boone NC , & front desk person says it may show up that way, but I was only charged the $921.22 for 10-27-22 to 10-30-22. These charges showed up on my banking statement. This info I present should be documented in the what I didn't like below. Available pamphlets of venues, attractions in area to read and review was nice. I did leave a $ 10.00 tip for housekeeping service.

✓We stayed 5 nights and the hotel is probably understaffed, because they used Covid as an excuse for not providing cleaning service during our stay there. I went to the reception and asked for clean bedding and toilet paper and had to carry them on my arm to my room; ✓There was no safe in the room.

Bathroom hairs and stuff left on tub where large bottles of shampoo was left, but I was able to get staff in hallway to come clean it. But they forgot to clean backsplash at sink and to left side of sink, had hairs.
