The light fixture over the sink was dangling out of the ceiling, the pull out couch was filthy, the smoke detector was in a drawer. Asked for extra sheets for the pull out (they were not changed and filthy) and a blanket (there wasn’t one also no pillows for it) When I did I was accused of having more people then I did and having a pet. We could not swim in the pool because it was so dirty.

Stayed in non-smoking but it reeked of stale cigarettes. The toilet seat was falling off and nicotine dropped down the walls of the bathroom.

They met all my expectations and standards.

The effortless check in and check out process, the coffee was great, and there was nothing negative to report, except the suggestion to use brighter room lights that the switch controls instead of using lamps. Or have the switch connect to the lamps but the lighting needed to be brighter. To be clear- that's NOT a complaint; just a suggestion. Other than that I can honestly say I was only upset about one other thing--- I didn't have time to use the pool.☹️ It looked SO inviting!

The piece of furniture for placing a piece of luggage (room 124) was quite dirty and the back was broken. Lighting was dim. We turned on all the lights but the bulbs were so dim it was still hard to see. The floor around the tub looked grungy, but I think it was because the steel support by the tub had become rusty and was causing problems. But why only one bar of soap? We went to have breakfast ~7:30- all the chairs had been put in one end of the room and all the tables were at another end. We pulled 2 chairs out, pulled out a table and had our breakfast, not another soul showed up. Choices: coffee or hot water, 2 cereals, white bread slices or small muffins, milk, orange, apple or cranberry juice and pancakes. Napkins and plates were on a separate table and a little hard to find. Checking in wasn't a particularly pleasant deal. The gal behind the counter was hard to understand and not particularly pleasant. I'm sure I would not stay there again. I had not experienced pleasant stays at different Days Inns before, I wanted to confirm my opinions.

I'm not someone who likes a warm fuzzy feeling, but I do expect someone to look me in the eye, talk plainly and serve coffee whenever I want some. They were not good at any of that. I felt like I was intruding instead of staying somewhere I paid hard earned money to stay at.
