Disappointed in the restaurant, their hours, meal quality and choices and overall the $1150 price for 2 nights price tag seems exorbitant. The property is nice and a great location but doesn't have 4 star luxury feel.

We enjoyed our stay and LOVED the pool overlooking the ocean. It was a quiet spot and the room was comfortable with the fridge and microwave for quick breakfast.

Lobby is closed at night with no access to coffee supplies until 8am when it opens. Would love to have vending machines for soda or snacks. There were none.

Chairs and umbrellas at the beach were excellent. Nice beach.

The refrigerator has a loud mechanical noise coming from it intermittently. It will wake you from a dead sleep. It is even louder that the television.

The property was located on a nice beach. They did a great job of keeping the beach clean.

Would be great to have a continental breakfast in the lobby, since nothing is available on KCB and you need to drive to get something to eat first thing in the morning. Some late night food or drink options would be good too, maybe a vending machine with drinks or to stock the fridge in the room.

Great little beach, pool area, bikes are free to take out until sunset. Havana Jacks right next door is a wonderful spot for dinner. Overall fantastic experience for a few days in the Keys.

The bed blankets weren't very comfortable -- too light, though they may be better during the hot summer days.

We booked last minute and just for one night while traveling through the Keys, but the staff kindly moved us to the sea-view side. The jacuzzi was being repaired but we enjoyed the sea-side pool very much. A very pleasant beach with comfortable chairs and lounge chairs from which to enjoy the beach.

The noise from the band at night carried over to our room a little late. Beach is nicely sanded and lovely but slopes off sharply. into the water. Hot tub could use an upgrade and higher temp. Don't expect Marathon to have a downtown centre like Key West.

The view was fantastic - great ocean and sky colours. Having the restaurant next door was so convenient - the food although limited in the number of selections was good. Pool is right at the shore line and decent size. Proximity to marine experiences at Dolphin research centre and the aquarium was great on a cloudy day. Also fairly close to the terrific beaches at Bahia Honda Park! The resort has a retro look and a family feel. It is laid back and relaxed in tone.

Loads of seaweed all along the beach. It looks like it wouldn't take much work to rake them up The sand is filled with small wood pieces and stones, which makes it uncomfortable to lie on Beach facilities (tables, chairs) dirty Room really doesn't match the price. Set your expectations. What you really pay for is the beach.

The havana suite was nice and clean But the smell of the room when we first enter was no good ,the kitchen really need to be renovated. Anyway we will come back next year to a better room.

Everything about this stay was good. We are planning to come back and it will be recommended anytime. Just that we will upgrade to a better room.

The fan in the room was only working at one speed. I love having the fan on high, but putting the AC on a lower temperature worked out fine.

I love the atmosphere of the resort. It was laid back and our ocean view was worth paying for. Waking up in the morning, hearing the waves, and seeing the sunrise was so relaxing. The staff was friendly and accommodating when we needed them.

Had to request replacement bathroom towels. We had a 5 day stay at the beach so shoulg have been done daily. Floors, specifically bathroom were very dirty. We had to wear flip flops to keep the soles of our feet from turning black.

I was disappointed that the cleaning staff never asked if we needed anything during our 4 night stay. If you want service you have to ask for it. The bathroom was smaller than I expected it to be after I had a prior stay on ground level.
