Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Though we had breakfast included in our reservation the server insisted we were only eligible for 10% off. We had to argue with her (and go back and forth several times to the front desk) before she agreed to give us the breakfast.
Great staff, very clean and extremely comfy beds. The room was big as well.

I felt the breakfast included was a sham. When I booked, it said breakfast was included.. However, when I checked in I was told that my booking did not include it and that if I wanted, it would be charged to my room. I would also like to make a suggestion that putting a refrigerator inside a cabinet is a TERRIBLE idea. The fridge never really got cold, just cool... It definitely was working a lot harder than it had to just to keep my waters at luke warm / cool temperatures.
Room was clean, roomy and very comfortable. I especially enjoyed the walk in / handicap shower.

We had a very short stay, arrived 9pm and left before 6am to catch a plane. Breakfast starts 7 am and no takeaway option

The way the breakfast was done for social distancing took waaay too long for a hotel on a main highway. It took almost an hr for the whole breakfast process and some of my family didn't get to eat. The food was good, but we didn't even get everything we ordered after 40 min and the servers were too busy to ask. The process isn't working.

Other than the A/c not functioning properly in the room and the noise at 2am we enjoyed our stay.

My only gripe was there was a huge group of families and kids eating and hanging out in the lobby and most of them were not wearing masks even though it is the hotel policy. The policy was not enforced at all and it felt unsafe.

The only reason we wouldn’t stay at this property again was that the beds were too hard. This is just a personal choice. If you like a firm mattress then this would be the place for you!
The front desk staff was wonderful. Everything was clean and inviting. The cooked to order breakfast was delicious and much better than we expected. The service exceeded our expectations as well.

Because I reserved my rooms through a "third- party," I was treated accordingly! I SPECIFICALLY reserved a room with 2 queen beds and a hide-a-bed sofa and because I didn't reserve through the "Hilton" app directly, we got a "leftover" room which only had 2 queens, no hide-a-bed sofa so one of my kids had to sleep on the floor🤮. The most frustrating part was I paid full price as if I had what I requested, and then had to argue over the "free breakfast!"
They had a good breakfast!
