To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

perfect location, only 2 minute walk to the beach and a store across the road for all you need. room was quite big and specious and restaurant handy for quick breakfast in the morning

Only stayed for one night, however room was great. bed comfy, clean and staff pleasant. Wasn’t a long walk to the beach maybe 10 mins max.

Close enough to everything, far enough from the main strip noise. Lovely view of the ocean, friendly staff, fast lifts. Rooms were well insulated. Strong hot showers. A troublefree stay.

Breakfast was excellent, and a good value add on for the price. Only issue was some of the restaurant staff were adamant about no substitutions even for a cheaper meal. Exact same breakfast gets a bit monotonous.

Room was a little small and could have been a little better equipped. Dresser drawer broken, refrigerator not working, but they fixed that, closet very inadequate,small, room could have had more mirrors. at least one in room so 2 people could get ready at same time.

United States of AmericaWe were told that the maid would not come in unless requested, however the maid came and cleaned our room without our knowledge. It was very intrusive feeling. Also, the hot tub area was dirty and the hot tub did not work.
View/location was fantastic. We were on the 19th floor and still had a great view! The staff was friendly and the valet was very quick.
