The employees are not helpful. Check in was long. Friar they told mme that my booking was cancelled by Booking.com. Then gave me a room with a King when I ordered 2 doubles. The first room smelled of mold. There was a water dripping from ceiling. Towels weren’t provided and needed to go to front desk to request.

The room was TOO HOT and would never cool down. We opened the door to the hallway because it was cool in the hall and it cooled the room down a couple of degrees. The shower would change from scalding hot to freezing cold.

Staff on the front desk didn’t seem to know what they were doing. 3 people but only one person who knew how to check people in. The other two would interrupt the lady who knew what she was doing when she was working with another guest. We didn’t get notified regarding the pool being out of bounds most of our stay. I was charged a resort fees but the beach towels were includes, our room came with free breakfast, the sun loungers and umbrellas were free as we were guest. This wasn’t mentioned when I checked in.

The breakfast was nice. No gluten free bakery options but I always travel with gluten free bread.

The staff could be friendlier and more inclined to help. There were 3 of us in the room, plus 3 big suitcases, the room wasn't big enough to accommodate us and our belongings comfortably. Not everyone could speak English. The pool didn't work. However, they suggested us visiting a pool at the neibouring hotel.

We could check in earlier. The beach is great and very close. The beds are comfortable and big enough. There's an iron and ironing board in the room.

The cost to park was to expensive and the cost of breakfast was way to expensive for the quality of the food. $141.00 for 4 people to eat basically a regular continental breakfast at any other holiday inn that would be free.

We have to pay like 46$/day for the parking lot but it's almost the same everywhere in Miami Beach, which is just insane!

The front desk staff was rude. My flight was very early. I have never had an issue checking in early. I expected to have to wait till at least noon, but I was told that check in is 4 and I could try back at 2.. No smile, not I am sorry just facts and kinda of rude. We were told told we could leave bags and use the beach. Weren't give a key card to get back in. When we came back at 2 we're told no room. This time the front desk clerk was nicer. She did say come back at 3 and we would have room. We were given a room then.

We couldn’t check in early despite being told at 8.30qm ( as we had been travelling to get there) that they would put n urgent request for the first available room. We were told to keep checking in at reception because they could not ring us. The first time we tried after this was 2.40, 1 hour & 20 mins before we could check In Anyway And waited best part of half an hour in the queue, we were told no and told “we shouldn’t expect to be able to check in before 4!!” (Despite the earlier member of staff telling us otherwise and suggesting we call back early to check) We just went away and came back at 4.20pm STILL no room… despite everyone around us checking in here there and everywhere. ( and they were paying lower room rates) we eventually got in the room at 4.50pm 50 minutes after check in time!!!! Not happy… staff not really that nice, the first person we spoke to was ok. Restaurant food at breakfast just edible although apparently you can order but are not given this option. We also even had to wait for that because somebody had left is off the list. It wasn’t cheap either .. I will rethink my next holiday inn vacation. On a positive note , bed sheets really soft and the rooms were very clean.

The rooms did not have a fan in them that worked so the air felt stagnant, same for the indoor gym they all have AC but once it gets to the desired temperature the air stops moving so it smells musky in the gym

No dislikes hotel was as described but the friendly staff made it better

Kids eat free when you purchase an adult entree, hotel was family friendly & on the beach. Perfect location for my son’s birthday
