Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Love the size of the rooms, beds are very comfortable. The staff is friendly and easy to approach to get our needs meet. Wonderful to have a indoor pool. Great breakfast 😋 buffet.

No complaints.
Breakfast was tasty with a large choice of food. EUV charging for our electric car was close and easy to access. Served us well. Very quiet and private for being on North Division Street.

The price for a room is getting awfully high - if they want families to continue coming, they need to watch the price.
We have stayed there many times over the years. Always a good experience. Love the pool and hot tub and our grandchildren have such a good time. This is a family friendly place!

I would have liked a room clean while we were there. We stayed for 3 nights without a refresh or new linens, but we could have asked I guess. Just used to it being done without scheduling.
The kitchen and lobby space was very comfortable and clean, exceeded our expectations. The staff were amazingly friendly and helpful, and always cleaning areas. The breakfast was excellent, and the rooms were clean and comfortable. We also loved the little store at the front desk for quick access to drinks, snacks and small gifts. :) Parking was easily accessible and well located.

Not much parking and kind of scary if you have to park in the back

There were only two things we didn't really like. The first is that over half of the parking lot was roped off for re-paving and/or re-painting. That half was the half with the handicapped spots, leaving no handicapped spots available for use. The second was that the color balance was off on the TV in our room. I'm not sure if it needs to be replaced or just serviced, but it had a predominantly blue tinge to it. Not exactly deal breakers nor didn't really ruin the stay, just things that were inconvenient.
This hotel was in the perfect location for us, being only blocks from family. The room was clean and comfortable. We enjoyed swimming in the pool and the fact that check-out was at noon. The staff all seemed really kind. The provided breakfast had a variety of available dishes, probably one of the most varied offerings I've seen at a hotel. And there was plenty of seating to be able to sit and eat without feeling rushed.

I am only 5'2", and had great difficulty getting into the bed. It must have been at least 36-40" high. It was an obstacle course that I was unable to overcome.

That we couldn’t have music in the pool area.
How laid back the hotel was about the noise on a Friday night. We were there for a birthday party so it was a little louder than usual and no one complained!

I really can’t think of anything.
It was easy to get to! Lots of stores, n Costco not to far away. Awesome eating places near by. Had a great handicap bathroom, pool, and wonderful breakfast and staff. Also bed was wonderful!!

The exhaust fan in our room needs to be replaced , it was loud enough to wake the dead. They ran out of batter for the waffle maker at 8:30.
