Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

There was no elevator to the second floor for handicapped. The breakfast is "grab and go", Not a sit down breakfast but the grab and go" excellent.
. The staff was excellent could not have asked for better hospitality

Didn’t find the bed pillows comfortable however the bed was comfortable.

Some noise from attached gas station. Cleaning products do have quite a smell. (Fortunately the window opens.)
Clean, and excellent value. Windows open to get fresh air and the heating/ac unit is separate for each room. Bed is comfortable. Free breakfast is nice (grab and go but they do offer frozen options to heat in the microwave as well.)

Expensive due to an event in Monterey at the time. Not their fault at all- they were the best value of all options.
Our room was very nice. High ceilings and lots of space. They have done a nice job with decorating. All staff we encountered at the office were fantastic.

They didn’t clean the room for the 3 days that we were there. Had to go to the office twice to get towels and on the second day the lady at the office told me that the room was scheduled to be cleaned that day and it wasn’t cleaned when we got back that night.
Great location between Salinas and Monterey.

The facility is a bit outdated and could use some refreshing.
The room was clean and comfortable. All employees we interacted with were very pleasant and helpful. The Grab and Go breakfast was full of nice snacks, fruit, and yogurt.

Nothing here...
Very friendly and welcoming, clean, place which offers everything you can expect from a Motel of this category. Grocery and (mostly Asian) restaurants nearby (Korean BBQ!) makes it a convenient stay. Would definitely book again!

We were really well welcomed. The room was tidy and clean. pretty big too - bigger than expected. The beds were one of the best we ever slept in! They really try to make it the best for their visitors. even though they’re basically a motel, they still prepare breakfast every morning. also including a veggie solution.

While clean and maintained well enough the property is in need of a freshening up of the exterior
Sarah the owner was friendly and accommodating with lots of information. Their grab n go breakfast was well provisioned and could be supplemented with hot oatmeal or a breakfast sandwich which you had to nuke in the room. Overall, much more than expected.

There were small things like: rusted lamps, hole in the wall from a door knob, the breakfast could have been better, but overall it was a great room.

The managers were so nice and helpful. They actually acted like they were glad we were there. Refreshingly different than many other hotel staff experiences. The breakfast they provided was great - nutritional and balanced. As we were there for bike races, this was a nice bonus.

Really the only issue I came across at this property was that they placed us in a Queen double bed room when I had booked a single King room but I understand that we arrived at quite a late time and it was also Valentine’s Day so all the single Kings sold out before we arrived at the location
It had everything we needed. Comfortable stay for a quick night
