Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomThe windows had been left open so when we came in the room was cold. The reception area wasn't very cosy.
You feel close to nature, despite being very close to the main dual-carriageway freeway. Lovely views over the golf course. I liked the choice of shower gel, shampoo etc. products. One of the best fitness centres I've seen in a hotel in a long time. Good commitment to sustainability by having communal water dispensers rather than producing plastic water bottles.

United States of AmericaNot a big fan of the addition $29 per day resort fee.
Great amenities for families. 2 pool areas with various games like table tennis, bocce ball, etc. On site restaurant has good quality food and not too overpriced. Del Monte golf course is awesome for golfers.

LuxembourgThe food menu at the bar closed at 8:30pm and the bar at 9pm. Considering that you are far from the city, it is hard to get food or a drink, so come prepared.

United States of AmericaDisappointing dinner menu. Very limited. My son/husband ordered $20. hamburgers. Said hamburger 🍔 buns were COLD/expensive/not worth the $. Had Burger King on drive to Monterey/better price and better hamburger. I was disappointed with $14. glass of champagne/no bubbles/poured into a wine glass. Will stay at hotel again but eat elsewhere. Spent almost $200 for a terrible meal.
Lovely location. Close to everything but quiet location. Room was very clean. Nice open bar/dining area. Have stayed here before when in Monterey/would stay again.

United States of AmericaIt was so busy and staff seemed unconcerned - not particularlly helpful. Maybe they were just burned out? Registration desk and resturant .... Not a good vibe. Loud kids running around in both areas and outside in a golf course bunker throwing the rakes in some sort of game (in the dark). Tranquility to match the serenity of the landscape was missing. Too expensive for what you get...

United KingdomView of the car park from the ground floor isn't great, but to be honest there's very little jot to like here.
Wonderfully finished hotel that felt really friendly but still professional. Beds were incredibly comfortable with great touches like free refillable water bottles in room. The pool was great. Easy to get loungers.

United KingdomThe only slight downside is there isn’t too much nearby to the hotel in terms of other bars or restaurants. Not an issue if, like us, you enjoy a bit of a walk! Ubers are also readily available and can drop you into downtown for a pretty cheap fare. We walked to Downtown one evening and it took us maybe 20 minutes so it really wasn’t something that impacted our stay.
My husband and I stayed here during our honeymoon road trip around California and it was the perfect place to unwind and indulge ourselves for a few days. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful and the facilities were top notch. We particularly loved the outdoor terrace with its fire pits and relaxed seating, perfect for some late afternoon/early evening drinks. There’s also several pools on site which we sadly didn’t have the time to properly enjoy as we had so many other touristy activities planned in around Monterey. However, they looked fantastic from what we saw. We enjoyed a brilliant meal at the hotel’s restaurant on our first evening and our server was so lovely. When he found out we were on our honeymoon he brought over two glasses of champagne, some drinks vouchers and also deducted our dessert from our final bill. Such a lovely gesture, just wish we could remember his name as he was fantastic! My husband also played a round of golf at the hotel’s on-site golf course which was stunning. There’s a twilight deal which includes green fees and golf cart rental for a very reasonable price.

United States of AmericaIt was tricky getting to our room from the parking lot.
The room was spacious and comfortable. The bar and sit down lobby area was so much fun. We didn’t get a chance to try out the restaurant but we did check out some of the dishes and it looked so yummy! I loved that the gym had Peloton bikes- so cool! The breakfast cafe was good and so convenient. I can’t remember the bartenders name but he was a younger Mexican guy from San Fran. He was great!
