Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United States of AmericaInn on La Loma Plaza was very authentic. This is a historical building that was a fort, a private home and an inn since the 1990’s. Peggy was very accommodating and made our stay delightful. She is an excellent cook and breakfast was outstanding!

SpainThe property is lovely. The hostess and the receptionist were very welcoming and accommodating. The hostess upgraded our room so we could be on the ground level at a modest increase in the room rate. Breakfast was homemade and delicious. Highly recommend this Inn.

United States of AmericaOur room at least was in need of maintenance. Light bulbs burned out. Back door to the patio was impossible to open. Grout in the tiles falling out. These are simple fixes that would make a world of difference, especially for that price.
Pretty cool place. Not your typical motel. The location was really good, close to the plaza but not walking distance. Super hot water. The Inn was very clean and decorated with the New Mexican motif.

United States of AmericaThe outdoor stairs from the parking area to the Inn were no problem for us but might be for some with physical issues.
This property is rustic and so charming. We stayed at 6 places on our SW USA trip and this one was the coolest. All was so well thought out - details in rooms to common areas inside and out. The breakfast in the sunroom was delicious and perfect, made to order.

The property is beautiful and historic. Breakfast was excellent and cooked to order by our hostess, Peggy. She was wonderfully helpful with our luggage and making us comfortable. There were extra treats in the room and a fire all prepared in the fireplace.

United States of AmericaInn at La Loma Plaza is truly a gem--and one of the best properties my husband and I have ever stayed at! The hospitality, history, comfort, location, and atmosphere are unmatched. The Inn is run by a woman named Peggy who makes breakfast each morning and greets you each day. The Inn itself is a historical landmark, having been built in 1800, and is a piece of history in itself. The Inn is located walking distance from everything in town and is only 30min from the ski valley (easy drive!). Also, dog friendly with a large front yard for the doggos to hang out. We cannot wait to come back to Taos--largely because of Peggy and the Inn.

United States of AmericaNo complaints!
Spacious and comfortable breakfast area with a quiet and cozy room. Wonderful customizable breakfast offered every day. The owner and innkeeper (Peggy) was super friendly, gave us a tour of our room and allowed us to store our ski boots in the lobby to keep them warm. Spacious bathroom had plenty of counter space and a walk-in shower with steam feature. Room was cozy, easily temperature controlled and quiet in the evenings, decorated with traditional New Mexican pueblo accents. We enjoyed our working fireplace with a complimentary bundle of wood. Lighting a fire after a day of skiing was a treat! The inn is about 30 minute drive from Taos Ski Valley.

What a beautiful Inn, the rooms are cozy with fireplace and wood brought to the room. This is a dog friendly location and we even had a small patio area off our room for our dog. Peggy is incredible, her made to order breakfast was the BEST! She is so knowledgeable and knows all the history and places to eat in Taos. We enjoyed our stay and will visit again!!! Thank you Peggy, amazing stay!!!

United States of AmericaThe room was very tight without a lot of room to move and it was kind of weird going up two steps to get to the bathroom in the middle of the night. I get that these are features built into the room. I would get a larger room next time. :) We still enjoyed our stay.
Great breakfast! Enjoyed the historic building and grounds. We also enjoyed speaking with the woman who cooked and served the breakfast.
