Nothing “not to like.” Our room was clean and well appointed. A nice continental breakfast was offered to enhance the convenience of our stay.

Lamies is an institution in Hampton. It has offered dining and accommodations to the community and to travelers for generations. Now under the ownership of the Higgins Family, the property’s great traditions are being nicely upheld!

We missed breakfast on Sunday because of a misunderstanding on the time it was served but other than that not much to complain about :-)

Continental breakfast in a bar's lounge was something to experiment! Great staff, very knowledgeable and helpful with tips on things to do in the area

The shower was out dated, both in design and maintenance. Upon checkout I recommended to the desk attendant they replace their shower head. If they comment here they did so - then I have nothing significant to say against this place.

The building is packed with personality, from the counter through the room and on to the restaurant where they served breakfast. To have a story told all the time al around you is a nice experience. The room was big, classically furnished.

No complaints. The property is perfect for a weekend getaway. Nothing that I would change. It is an older property, so some might not find it perfect, but we did.

Check-in was friendly and fast. Convenient location, great restaurant, and cozy room. We had a terrific weekend visit and enjoyed dinner in the tavern, as well as a nice breakfast before we left. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly, which made the stay even more enjoyable.

    The history, staff and food

I felt I walked back into time. The history of both the inn and tavern was so interesting. The staff was above and beyond helpful. The food was spectacular. This will be my go to place when ever I go to Hampton Beach.

My only complaint would be the overwhelming air freshener scent in room 49 (or perhaps it’s a cleaning agent). I would recommend eliminating that because many people are very sensitive to perfume smells and it detracts from the otherwise charming atmosphere.

Great location with a very generous continental breakfast. The front desk staff were friendly and informative especially in regards to the history of the inn. The rooms were cozy and full of old style charm.

I would be grasping at straws to find something negative and the stay was so enjoyable that it would be wrong to pick holes :)

We enjoyed every minute of our stay at Lamie's. Yes, it is an historic building but full of charm and ambience. From the moment we stepped through the door we felt comfortable. Our room was plenty big enough, the beds were comfortable, the water pressure was like having a massage, our room was very quiet and the microwave was very welcome as was the 24 hour coffee facility in the foyer (and it was always hot!) The breakfast is the usual continental style, served in the charming bar area filled with memorabilia. We liked the location too - easy to do trips into Portsmouth and MA. We visited Newburyport and Rockport and had a fantastic time.

The beds were slightly uncomfortable for my preference, but not enough to really bother me.

This inn has a really cozy feel and the staff is super friendly. The restaurant it’s connected to, The Old Salt, was delicious as well and not super pricy and they have a pretty good variety for the continental breakfast.
