The parking space available very close to the entrance of the resort can be filled in fast. Although they have additional parking across the street, this may be inconvenient when it is raining hard.

The room was y, very clean and the personnel were very responsive to all my requests. The view from our room in the second floor was excellent. The channel selection on the TV was also very good. We enjoyed a lot the food in the Island View restaurant.

Room floor was a bit dirty and there's only one public restroom for male and female each with only two stalls.

Had to empty the dehumidifier a couple time a day. Resort chairs and umbrellas covered the shore line, had our own. Could not have our own drinks. Mattress was too soft. Elevators were very busy, it took awhile to get onto one.

Construction was next to our room and very noisy. The elevator just outside our room was out of order. it was inconvenient.

The bed was very comfortable and the food at the Sun Deck was delicious. The location was great and the staff were very friendly and helpful.

The staff spoke to us and treated us as if we were young party goers that wanted to ruin their hotel. I think they are conditioned to speak to customers like this. The hotel looks as though it is in need of renovations, cleaning and paint. The swimming pool has a layer of filth on the surface.

The location was indeed the best thing about this hotel. I also really enjoyed the beach in the early morning and late afternoons when the sunbeds and umbrellas were taken away.

Would be nice if the a/c was turned down a little further. Elevators were slow and not very clean. The shortage of parking was sometimes a pain.

View was excellent from room. Room was perfect size for 2 people. The bracelets that we used for opening doors was a great idea. Plenty of places within resort to eat and drink. The prices were excellent....

A lot of the property looked fine for a beach hotel. But the underside and entrance to hotel could use an extreme face lift and brightened up. Almost scary to walk into.

Pool needs to be kept up with throughout the day. The tunnel needs to be seriously cleaned and more lighting, even during the day-very dark and dingy. Overall stay was fantastic. Was a little put off at check out. “Room keys please”. “You will receive an email from the third party booking”. That is all they said. No “thank you”. “How was your stay”. “Come back soon”. NOTHING. Very strange.

Great location. Friendly and accommodating staff. Never have to leave the resort. Everything needed is there.

Eco-friendly room service. I go to vacation to relax and not do anything, I understand that “eco friendly” is good, but it’s probably due to short staffing, I wasn’t looking forward to be cleaning and making bed every day! Then the beach towels… when we went to pick up the towels we were asked to reuse them unless we are very filthy. Beds were uncomfortable, we ended up checking out early. Then at the beach, omg! The boats! The boats are way too close to the beach, they shouldn’t be allowed, we felt like we were at marina not the beach!

I liked that we were right on the beach.

We specifically picked Lani Kai for the fact that we could get an oceanfront room with a balcony for a decent price. However, we were put in Room 202, which had a cluster of palm trees right in front of our balcony that completely blocked any view of the ocean and one of my favorite things to do while on vacation is to have my morning coffee on the balcony and enjoy the view of the ocean which I didn’t get to experience.

The location was great! The outside of the property was a little weathered, but we were pleased that our room was very spacious and clean and our two double beds were comfortable and big enough for me and my 12 year old son to share a bed and my husband had a bed to himself. Although we saw reviews complaining of noise, we had a quiet, peaceful experience and slept well and during the day and evenings enjoyed the live music available in the bars and restaurants at the property. Overall we had a great experience at Lani Kai!

Pool towel inventory is lacking but staff seems to do their best trying to keep up with demand. Other than that I have nothing bad to say.

This beach resort was nice. I would def. stay here again. Keep in mind it's a 'beach' resort, not a Ritz.. Sand is fine and sticks to everything. Staff sweep or pressure wash the property area leading out to the beach every day. You can rinse your feet at the pool. Close to town where you can view beautiful sunsets with restaurants and shopping. Room was simply decorated. Shower was always hot. Especially liked the bracelet access system.

Beach drink expensive and did not taste 1 oz. Of alcohol. Did not purchase any more. I would have if it at least tasted like it had a little in it. Bathrooms had tiled lifted on ceiling and looked a bit moldy around where tub and floor met.

Loved being able to walk to time Square, loved the rentals of chairs and beach umbrellas, loved free parking.
