To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

United States of AmericaThe hotel appeared very run down. There were signs all over the parking lot warning that they were not responsible for theft or damage to your vehicle from break-ins. To get to my room, I had to walk around a man that looked homeless sitting on the stairs with his belongings. The swinging door lock was broken off. When I sat on the foot of the bed, the head lifted into the air. (I'm 6'3" 220 lbs) The bed only has a sheet and the TV in the bedroom was slightly blurry. Overall the room seemed dingy with dust bunnies in the corners. I will say that I did not see any cockroaches though, so that was nice.
There wasn't much that I liked about this hotel except maybe the casino food court was nearby and inexpensive. The staff that dealt with me were very nice.

But I have a bad leg an it was miserable walking up to the 3rd floor an it's not bad just wish the tv was a little Brighter lol was good tho. Other then the elevator my leg is so soar now an will be for a little while. But loved your place thank you so much

United States of AmericaThe rooms were not clean by any means. The vacuuming wasn’t done properly, there were left over open bottles in the fridge, as well as a half drank can of beer. Their idea of blankets was far from a blanket more like a heavy sheet. The pool and jacuzzi and pool were closed from Sunday when I arrived until Friday before the end of my stay. I was still charged a resort fee for amenities I could not use. So in that sense it was a mediocre stay at best.
I liked the cafe and eateries in the hotel and casino.

I liked that the location was good for events in the area. And also the Café in the hotel was walking distance and great food. Loved the staff at the Café.
