A bit old and outdated.

The hotel is a bit old but very clean we had no problem staying there although we only stayed for a night.. so I would stay here again. Location is great.

in the process of remodeling and our room had not been worked on yet so furnishings needed updating and AC was a little difficult. The indoor pool should be amazing when it is reopened

The room was clean and staff was very nice. For the price, I would expect a newer, nicer and updated place.

Bathroom wasn't initially clean, as there was a questionable stain on the flood. There were also some strange hairs in the sheets. Both of these issues were immediately addressed by the staff without any issue. Staffing seems to be the issue here, as it does everywhere else. I was immediately hit with a porta-potty smell upon arrival that seemed to be confined to the ground floor. TV remote wasn't fully functional.

Friendly staff. They were very helpful with the issues I encountered, and did what they could to help. While outdated and worn, the gym was actually much better than I had expected, especially considering the rest of the place. Good location if you don't mind a little walk. Restaurant located inside the hotel was actually really good, and their staff was friendly as well. WiFi seemed pretty good.

The rooms are becoming very out dated and not kept up with. We had a lot of what looked like water damage in the ceilings/walls. Drop ceiling tiles were half coming out. Musty smell. The place use to be gorgeous. Feels like no one cares about the up keep. Didn't like how you werent told that both pools were closed either.

I grew up in downtown Manteo so was very familiar with the Elizabethan and Nautics Hall. Stayed here 9 years ago and loved it.

The room wasn’t very clean and it was extremely noisy. Doors slamming all morning and housekeeping used a grocery cart to carry laundry which was very loud at 8am in the morning going over the tile floors. There was an ice truck that had a very loud back up beeping noise every morning around 8-9am. When we are on vacation some dayS we like to sleep in, not here.

The whole place was very dated. Rooms smelled bad. Looked like it had been given maybe just a cursory cleaning before we arrived. Trash cans in the rooms were not lined with bags, only one roll of toilet paper in bathroom. Everything we touched felt sticky and dirty. Pretty rough for the price.

Elizabethan Inn was close in proximity to the concert venue, so that was nice. Person at the counter was nice to us, but far from professional as she dealt with others.

I didn't like all of the dead bugs that were squished across the ceiling, kinda creepy. And there was a terrible smell that we could not figure out where it was coming from.

When my booking was on the Booking.com site was made it was stated that there was a pool available. When I asked a staff member about the pool being closed I was told that the pool had been closed for over two years. Also, there was a large bag of garbage in the hall as you exited the elevator which was never removed. A dreary motel.

It’s an older place and needs a bit of TLC. I can tell the owners are trying, but feel like the maintenance of this place may be a bit overwhelming. Its really showing its age as are the room amenities. AC barley worked and certainly didn’t keep up during daylight hours. You could see through the towels.

We had to go to the office for supplies such as coffee and fresh towels. During a three night stay, no one came to clean the room. The facilities are old, and items such as the bathroom doorknob and shower controls did not work well. The ice machine is in a separate building.

The room was clean and comfortable. The staff was very friendly and helpful.
