Booked our room in October. We all got phone calls/messages stating that rooms would be changed. We all paid for vacation club but were out in regular hotel. Again, rooms were nice but some of us got regular rooms while others got suites. We could not understand since rooms were booked and fully paid for in October. Would have been nice to have a refrigerator in a room that we all originally booked.

We booked the vacation club with a king size suite but upon arrival we were informed that the suite was not available and we were given a double queen room in the Hotel. This was not disclosed by booking.com that this could happen. We were lucky to get a room on premise because the staff informed us sometimes they have to send you to another location.

Never stayed at the Vacation Club we booked! The Vacation Club is a time share , which Booking never told us. We showed up and weren't able to stay because the owners were using it. No notice, nothing.

The Margaritaville HOTEL and the staff were great . Just be warned, that you may not get what you booked, and your vacation can get off to a bad start.

The hotel would not honor our Booking.com reservation. We have to pay more for a smaller room with less amenities. We will not be using Booking.com again.

Too smoky at pool bar when kitchen was cooking, they need better ventilation.

The convenience of the location was excellent. Everytime I stepped into the lobby it was a very good vibe! The pool bar was great for night caps, just too much smoke from the kitchen! Our studio was very comfortable and woked great for us!

I would not recommend this property or booking.com since I booked this room two months prior and I didn’t get the room I had booked. I got a call on my way to the airport telling me about the changes. I had no choice but to take a room of lesser amenities at the last minute. what a way to ruin your vacation?

customer service was terrible, Paid in full online. arrived to be told theres an extra cost. guy who checked us didnt know why or could explain what it was for. he seemed very confused and unsure about the whole check in process. charged our card, was refunded to be charged again. with the extra charges for bank fees for international rates and conversion rates we ended up being out more even with inital the refund. assistant manager wasn't pleasant to deal with, and was just rude when it was unnecessary. Manager was more helpful in trying to sort out why we were charge more. apparently it was due to the local taxes. not sure if that is true or not. when we pay in full upon booking there shouldnt be an extra charge. it ended up being an extra $400 in CAD which would of made us choose a different hotel. paid in full means Paid in full. will not be using booking.com or book at this chain of hotels again. No room service! for the outrageous price we paid we didn't receive any customer service or extra service. room service should be included!

Everyone was super nice. We actually had an issue with our bathroom door and James his coworker came up to our room to fix it. Not only did they fix it but we enjoyed talking with them. When we saw them in the halls later on it felt like we were old friends - sense of familiarity. Fourth floor bar was our fav spot in the afternoons and Starbucks in the morning!
