Initial room on floor 5 overlooking the park was very close to the A/C units below it . Very noisy when on the balcony and asked for a room move . This was sorted to my complete satisfaction .

Being right on the beach and a short walk to Art Deco area was a real treat . Beach and swimming pool attendants were excellent and helped get some good spots on the beach and around the pool . early disappointment on the room was rectified by a room move. Cleaning staff wonderful .

Normally, Marriott’s have coffee in the lobby. We had to go to Starbucks every day to get coffee, which was a just appointment. Parking was astronomical!! I’ve never paid for parking at a Marriott. Especially $55 a night.!!! Extra expense I didn’t plan on! Otherwise great location! I had my sisters and brother book there because I am a Marriott member for years!

Crowded hot tub. Lolo’s restaurant was crowded and understaffed, which means it took too long to get food. The room was noisy—but mostly due to kids in adjoining rooms, and rude adults. Two elevators weren’t enough.

The location was fantastic. Loved the heated pools. The hot tub was too crowded ( too many young kids in it)—maybe an additional adult hot tub would be great.

The toilet broke in our room. After two attempts a part was replaced and it was fixed. The agent gave us a $50 credit. The umbrella for the beach cost $25 day. I ordered one margarita by the pool and it was $25 plus tip. Stupid expensive

For one I was not awear I had to pay an extra $250 jus for a beach front room when thts what I choose upon booking! Then my toilet ran water for three of the four nights I was there after they fixed it. The shower was not clean nor the tub and I feel that if I paid over $2000 I should hve received better! No microwave have to pay $25 per night to have it brought into your room! This was one not so happy trip cause I feel like I got ripped off!

Wished lounge chair cushions at pool were replaced. They are so worn in the center where you'd sit that they may as well not be there at all.

Liked proximity to beach and walkability to restaurants and shopping. Room was trendy and clean. Staff was pleasant and helpful.

They have a restaurant open only at night. The “cantina” next door that serves the hotel all day, is absolutely awful. Terrible food. There is no light inside the closets.

The bar prices at Lola’s were outrageous!!!! First night we had probably 4 margaritas between us. Bill: $166.00! Next day at lunch, 2 frozen margaritas. Bill: $48.87!! For 2 drinks!! I felt like we just fell off a turnip truck from New Brunswick and landed in Tijuana. Really felt robbed…
