We were very happy with everything at the Inn and had an enjoyable stay. The only issue might be the lack of a lift/elevator to rooms on the upper floors, especially when carrying luggage.

McKinley Edwards Inn is a wonderful place to stay. Our room was spacious, extremely comfortable and beautifully appointed. The breakfast buffet has a good range of choice and the hot option varies each day. The owner is very pleasant and welcoming and we had a great stay. Bryson City is a convenient location for exploring the Smokies, and the Blue Ridge Parkway, as well as the activities offered in Nantahala, Fontana, and Deep Creek. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend.

We had a first floor room, which still had a few steps. Which was no issue for us, but something that may affect others. Other rooms had 2 and 3 flights of stairs.

Breakfast was a homemade hot Dish and then fruit and other items like instant oatmeal, waffles, yogurt. Was very good. Dining area was very pretty and scenic. Grounds were very well maintained and pretty. Had Games to play outside. Very cute.

the only drawback of this property is the difficulty getting from the parking lot and up the many stairs to some of the rooms. This is not a place for people with any mobility issues. The owners sent a number of notices clearly stating this after we had already booked our non-refundable room, Fortunately this was not an issue for us.

The breakfast was very good and included fresh fruit, a breakfast casserole and good variety of other breakfast items. It was served in a beautiful room surrounded by windows overlooking lovely gardens. An added touch was the gas fire on a chilly day. The room was spacious, comfortable and nicely decorated. The two recliners were an added bonus.

It was just right for our trip.

We were welcomed with warmth and hospitality. McKinley Edwards Inn provided the perfect overnight accommodations for our family. We had four rooms to accommodate our family for our Polar Express adventure. John Mark was kind enough to set up chairs around the fire pit along with a s’mores table for us after we arrived back for the evening. Our kids loved it! The breakfast and dining area was lovely. A great gathering space for us to spend time together. Our littles enjoyed the craft table that Janice set up after breakfast. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

The only thing negative was the attitude of the gentleman at breakfast working from kitchen. He was both curt and snide,he made us feel like we were imposing instead of guest.
