So when traveling with older people who have to get up in the middle of the night the beds although amazing they where high so my older friend actually fell out of the bed and hit her head on the wood chair. Cutting her head open. Thankfully, it wasn't worse. Just would have liked to know the beds were higher than most standard highs

We loved everything

We feel like we lucked out. We were looking for a stay in Telluride but hotel prices were ridiculous. So we looked for something close and feel like we found the best secret in the rocky mountains. The location is nestled right between a few gorgeous mountains. The town was lovely. And the property was so perfect we decided to stay an extra night. The staff were very helpful and friendly.

We could not open our curtains to let the light in or enjoy the view because of people having to walk just inches away from the window on the walkway so that felt isolating. The sound proofing is not good. We could hear everyone walking around, muffled talking, and every large truck or ambulance that went down the highway out front. (We stayed in the hotel part.) I couldn't tell from the pictures that you are basically staying above a gas station so that surprised us and kinda took away from the mountain feel we were hoping for. Sound proofing the rooms better would go a long way towards improving the comfort of your guests.

It was close to town and we had a kitchenette. The path into town was a nice walk and it was very close to the hot springs pool which was very convenient. We really liked that after we left, Skyler sent us our pillow in the mail that we had accidently left behind. So the customer service was really good in that regard.

Unfortunately, we woke up numerous times to various noises that’s the only reason we didn’t rate a 10. We felt that we could hear everything from our room.

Wonderful location in Ouray, it's a cozy place with cabins, a more standard hotel, and it's all right on the river! The rooms were decorated very nicely with rustic furniture. The bed was comfortable.

We stayed in the Inn/hotel and loved it! The staff were over the top friendly and helpful, we loved the ease of checking in and out, and the whole place had a great vibe. It was just enough distance from town to feel a little more isolated but close enough to not feel an ounce of inconvenience.

Our family of 4 stayed there the week of Thanksgiving the cabin had everything we needed..The views are breathtaking especially if its snowing..Loved Loved our stay there hopefully we are back again.

The curtains in the loft space next to the bed do not extend to the floor, nor are they black out curtains. The Christmas lights were so bright in the window, we had to unplug them, then hang bathroom towels on the curtain rod to block out neighbors lights

Extra fees for having dogs in dog-friendly cabins. We HATE that and feel fleeced every time it happens, whether hotel, cabin, or Airbnb. I typically avoid such places, but we made an exception here. Still, it was one of the few negatives that kept me from giving a perfect rating. If you are going to be dog-friendly, BE THAT. Don't force people with dogs to pay more; they have no choice when traveling with furry family members, so the feeling of being taken advantage of is inevitable.

I stayed in one of the rooms at this property during a last-minute booking weeks earlier, when I had car trouble on the road and had to stay an extra night. I adored the location of the rustic cabins and started plotting my return a couple of weeks later, with my husband and dog in tow. The riverside location is simply spectacular, and the staff are very friendly, helpful, and responsive. They obviously take great pride in the property; cleanliness and upkeep are outstanding. Ditto the convenience (i.e. proximity to riverside trail, downtown, items at the property shop). We loved grilling and sitting by the fire pit at night! Not having a bathroom in the cabin wasn't ideal for us (and the full bed was doable, but still a bit small), but we knew that going in & the price and everything else made up for those inconveniences.
