It is very isolated, half mile from small town area, and 5 miles from main lively beach and bars. Also, be aware, we upgraded to a balcony… they are not balconies you can sit on, but Juliette balconies, so you can only open the door and stand against a railing, not even step out.

Wish there was a coffee pot in the room. No ice machine only a very small bags in a stand up freezer. The freezer didn’t work so ice melted

The signs for the main entrance probably could be a little clearer as we had some trouble finding the place. The shower in the master bath didn't have a door, so the tile ended up getting pretty cold, but it wasn't a deal breaker.

The staff was very friendly, always willing to help, and always smiling. The resort had several amenities that only added to our stay like a private beach access and bikes for use. They had an amazing bar and grill, the BackFlip Bar, that had great food and overlooked the ocean.

The pillows!! They start out fluffy, but quickly become flat. Next time we come, we’ll get a room with a balcony for a little extra space.

Location was 👍🏼! Near great restaurants, bars, attractions. Plunge has a great pool and beach. The food and drinks served at Backflip and Octopus were good, the staff at Backflip-exceptional!

They dont show any pictures with beach umbrellas or chairs so we brought our own . They don't assist with Valet luggage that was most disappointing. Pool and beach were amazing. They should send servers to the beach to ask for drink servers. When you book in 3rd party website they dont tell you the Bungalows are adults only . I booked a bungalow for my wife and son. It let me book it then I called and they wouldnt refund my money I paid $30 more for the Bungalow thru bookings .com

The hallways are in need of renovation, but signs were there stating that was in the works. It is a little disappointing that for the price, nothing, not even water was included. Drinks on the beach were very high priced.

We didn't have the breakfast. The lobby and rooms were nice. Clean and comfy. The location was great! Beach was well stocked with chairs and umbrellas. Staff was attentive, knowledgeable and friendly.

The staff would close the pool and make everyone leave by a little after 7pm, they would also take all the chairs and umbrellas from the beach around that time even though sunset wasn't until 8:40pm.

We loved the beach and having the bar/restaurant right there next to the beach. The pool area was also very nice!

Needs some serious updating. Rust and mold on light fixture in my room. No microwave and they could use an actual ice maker. It’s a freezer with bags of ice. Not enough lounge chairs around pool. They have an adults only side with pool but never saw anyone in it. Adults not staying on bungalow side should be able to use adult only pool too.

The hotel is need of some updating. We were glad to see they have some improvements planned, such as carpeting and lighting. While the hotel is listed as beachfront, the main building where we stayed is not actually on the beach. The walk to the beach is short but I felt it was a little misleading. They do have other buildings that are on the beach. In order to get beach chairs, etc., you must wear a wristband provided at check-in. These are not designed to be taken off and on, which is understandable, but the idea of wearing it to shower and sleep was not appealing. One of the biggest disappointments for us was that the winds were too strong for the beach umbrellas to be up. And they couldn't put them up at the pool either. My husband and I need the shade or we burn. I know the hotel can't control the wind but we could not find a shady place to relax and enjoy the beach.

The room was comfortable and the hotel is pretty cute. We ate one meal at the restaurant by the pool and it was good. Had coffee at the coffee shop and were happy with what we received. The staff were pleasant. We had to leave a day early because of illness and the hotel refunded that night's stay. That was greatly appreciated!

Oceanfront room should have a coffee maker. We brought our own but it would have been nice if we didn’t have to bring one.

Kind of off the beaten path, fairly quiet with mixed crowd of old, young, families. Although so rowdy folks but all in all, you could sleep at night without being disturbed too much.
