before i booked i called the hotel to ask if they had covered parking. i was told yes. after i arrived, i found this was not the case. I had the breakfast buffet: the eggs were cold, the croissants were dry. i went back for a 2nd cup of coffee and the coffee thermos was gone. wasn't even noon yet; someone forgot to make more. the revolving door had no automatic stop - very dangerous.

Tried 3 rooms until we had one without a strong musty smell. Some very noisy guests on out floor. Room only serviced once as each day ours was serviced around 1500 when we were back in the room. Seemed short or service staff.

Customer Service representative could be more friendly and polite.

The Hotel location was good to all major shopping center's and neighborhoods. Easy access to North, west and east freeways. We were able to check-in an hour early. To rooms are clean, equipped with basic amenities and they provide two complimentary water bottle each day. On site Breakfast is available which is sufficient to kick start your day for $20/-. Onsite parking is available for $20 per day but no monitoring as the gate/lever is broken.

The Hotel seemed to be short of staff. Couldn't get room service because of staff shortages. Had to physically go down to the restaurant from the 10th floor.

The AC is near the vent and the vent is near an inner door. When the door is open, the vent is blocked and even if it's not blocked it's still so close to the thermostat that the room never really gets that cold. I'm a hot sleeper so I had to sleep out from under the blankets. Wasn't a big deal but was noteworthy. The only other thing was the parking possibly could cost you? The arms were up and when I inquired the lady at the front desk said "Oh well since they're up I won't charge you." Implying that yeah, there's paid parking. I didn't see that when I reserved. Wasn't an issue this time but could be worth noting.

Room was great. Everything looks nice and taken care of. We had a busy schedule but there seemed to be plenty of things to do without going anywhere. You could walk to the Galleria if you wanted easily. TV had an input panel that was a little dated but has an HDMI-In which is rare for hotels that I've been to. If I do this again I'll likely say there again.

Cleanliness. I saw used coffee grounds scattered on the floor, under a coffee table, and it’s been there before. Tea packs left on the floor by those who lived in the room before. Somebody left dirty dish in front of their room, and this dish was there for the whole day.

Nice location near to the Galleria mall. Comfortable bed. Bigger than standard space.
