Bathroom in the room had some mold and didn't smell great. Room was a bit dated.

Loved the access to the spa facilities as part of our stay. Outside pool and poolside food was great with a nice selection of bar food and healthier options. Indoor heated pool and hot tubs were crowded in the evening, but still relaxing. Our room was very spacious and had a balcony with a view of the water. Vibrant and safe location across the street from downtown restaurants, coffee shops and stores.

Super old style Florida, in a good way. On-site amenities, pools, classes, spa, were all wonderful. Walking distance to lively restaurants and shopping.

I like the lobby bar but it should be open later. Breakfast was very good. Room size was great as was the view but too bad the weather wasn’t nice. They could use updating on carpets and rooms but it’s clean and historical in a nice location. Staff were all very nice and helpful. With some updates this place would be incredible.

I have history with Safety Harbor Resort. My husband and I have stayed many times. We are always very comfortable. However, it would be nice if they would consider changing some of the historic paintings on the walls. There are people from all races that frequent the resort. It's time to be fair.

I would not say this resort is kid friendly. They advertise they have 3 pools and kids 10 and under stay free but 2 of those pools are 16 years old and up and the other has the bar right beside it plus they do not allow pool toys to be brought in. We did not even find playground equipment in town for children. Safety Harbor & this resort would be amazing for anyone looking for a good time not traveling with children.

The location of the resort was great and I love the natural spring waters on the property. Saturday they had live music outside by the pool and that was an unexpected surprise which we enjoyed. Since we were there with 3 kids 10 and under we were happy to see an ice cream place and a candy store directly across the street from the resort. Once in your room it seems you hear little noise and our stay was nice.

Fan in hallway to bathroom very dusty. Did not think we should have been charged $35.00 to have son n granddaughter be able to come n spend a few hours with us at pool. This is why the second year in a row we choose the spa.

Bathtub was chipped and not very appealing. The toilet when refilling sounds like a jet airplane, but got used to it. Sometimes no towels were available in spa and pool area. Outside main pool does not have enough chairs or space for all guests.

Enjoyed the Bayside balcony room...nice view to relax and enjoy coffee. Spa facilities are wonderful...used steam room, sauna, and whirlpool. Locker room with showers were great!! Room and beds very comfortable. The ability to walk downtown was perfect.

Upon initial arrival, the gentleman working the front desk was somewhat condescending and dismissive. However, another staff member came up a few minutes later and pleasantly checked us in. In the room, the shower head was not clean and appeared to have mold on it and the tub was not entirely clean.

The property was very nice, including the gym and pool. The room was spacious and nice. The location of the resort is excellent and within walking distance to shops and restaurants.
