I was a little scared of the place and I saw lots of police came in the one day and feel suspicious about it, I don't know what happened.

Comfortable, cozy, nice staff are good and friendly, breakfast was ok.

Breakfast was ok. I had the waffle. Need more options such as yogurt and more natural options. Perhaps, boiled eggs and some fruit like bananas, apples, and oranges. The waffle maker was great. Enjoyed it with juice and coffee.

Well lit property at night. The entrance did not open automatically once you come into the property late. You need to show your key card to enter. I thought that was great. Shows us you have your customer interest at heart.

It was in central location. You could drive to stores for food or to shop the location was close by. If you needed medical attention. The hospital was close.

Couple of places to eat out, relax at the lake; train stop almost in front, room ok, bed ok - nothing posh but price is really ok for what you get - no more than that Not new but clean

Bathroom door broke room phone didn't work and weird smell in the room Night person at front desk was pretty rude.

The location was near the places I needed to get to. Ladies at front desk at check-in was very nice

While I was not expecting fancy beddings, this was another level of synthetic. The type of plastic that gives your static. The room is very not soundproof, and we were woken up multiple times by rude guests making a mess in hallway or the cleaning crew which, for some reason yelled its way through.

The hotel is in a great position with respect to the university campus. It is also very convenient for the tram.

I didn’t like the fact that when I was locked out of my room due to the adjoining door closing behind me, the first thing the lady at the front desk uttered was there was nothing that the hotel could do. Of course I wasn’t going to stand for that and I’m pretty sure the staff knew that too.

The location was perfect! I also liked the fact that the hotel was close to the police department should a situation occur.

The commode in the bathroom was too low and did not have any grab bars, but it was manageable

The coffee was delicious. I enjoyed my breakfast. I had a sausage and egg croissant, a muffin, yogurt, and a tangerine with and also apple juice. It was very near and an event that I attended.

Online through booking.com it stated if you read the fine print that they charge you an additional $100 damage deposit when you check in but when we got there they charged $200

Addtl $200 deposit was needed at checkin that was not mentioned in hotel info or policies before booking and said if will not be refunded until 5- 7 days after checkout. Ive heard of $50 incidental holds but not $200 Ice maker was out on my floor and had to go to another floor to get ice. The carpet smelled a little funky. I had to get a candle to burn and some fragrant Lysol diinfectant spray.

Modern Decor, Bed was very comfortable with nice soft pillows and plush comfortable. Accesible electrical plugs on bothsides of the bed that made charging my laptop very easy while working in bed. Very close to several restaurants within walking distance. 10-15 minutes drive to Uptown Charlotte and more restaurants.
