Limited parking. The toilet kept flushing all night. Was next to the stairs, not their fault, I will ask for another room next time. Thin walls. The food was ok. No breakfast meat.

Easy check in and out. Very clean. Comfortable bed, rotating TV. Loved the kitchen with a full refrigerator. No smoking rule is truly appreciated.

While the rooms are clean, upgrades are needed. In particular, carpet is old and getting shabby. Cabinets and dressers are nicked and worn. Combined, it gives a feeling of not being clean etc

I was there for 8 days and the room was never vacuumed, no garbage bags was left on the second cleaning ti.e

I had made a late reservation and I was assigned a handicap room which was spacious, doorways were wide and a wheelchair could be used in the shower. I am not handicapped but my younger brother uses a wheelchair. I usually check sites for him. The shower head would not have worked for him. It was too high for him as he only has 1 leg and he could not have reached it. Also the location of the dishes (above microwave) we’re not reachable for someone in a wheelchair and only 1 leg.

The location allowed easy access to shopping,dining , and especially historic sites. Staff was friendly and helpful especially the assistant general manager, Tapree Turner. Ms. Turner provided locations for dining as well shopping. She provided items that were missing from my room. Breakfast had choices and food was hot and tasty.

Elevator was slow and small, not easy to get to from our room location so we primarily used stairs. I had to step off the elevator so two girls could exit. There were only four smaller stature people on the elevator with minimal luggage at the time. Bathroom was small and cramped. Bathtub floor was narrow, curved upward around the edges and a bit slippery as a result. Bathroom sink water pressure was not strong and water would only get a little warm, not hot. Couch cushions didn’t seem great, stiff and lacked padding. TVs were a bit small. Curtains in bedroom had some staining. Side entrance staircase got very dirty during our stay. The weather may be to blame as it rained a lot but it definitely was not cleaned at least one night as it was dirty the morning we departed.

The rooms were nice, had everything we needed. Rooms offered plenty of space which was nice, except for bathroom, which was very cramped. Mattress was very firm, which I normally like, but I woke up with a sore back. Mattress looked new though, which was nice to see. Hotel room seemed very clean which is the most important thing to me. Front desk staff was friendly. My wife said the breakfast was pretty good. This was a good centralized location for our stay.

I was talking off guard when my door room was entered by staff. I couldn't even enjoy the rest of my stay thinking someone was going to burst in my room. And i still don't understand why that happened, Very strange and unprofessional. It was not my check out day and it was after 1 o'clock , and was told they thought i checked out that day. Did not sit well with me at all.

breakfast was not interesting .. there was one silver dollar pancake left. We left and ate breakfast elsewhere. Rug in hallway was a hazard and my daughter fell and got rug burns. Staff was very helpful bandaging her up

The location is one of the reasons we chose Sonesta ES Charlottesville, it was convenient to all the things we were doing or about to do, including shopping and wine tasting. The breakfast was quite good and offered a wide selection of choices, both hot and cold.

The breakfast is fine, but choice is quite limited. It is too bad that it is served on paper plates and with plastic cutlery. This feels outdated in the current 'sustainable' times. The room was not very clean.

Breakfast was included. The airconditioning is very powerful (great!) and can handle the heat well. The rooms are very spacious. The kitchen in the room is very handy. The rooms were very quiet.

The breakfast was not good. The hot options they serve, which vary each day, for instance scrambled eggs and sausages are not freshly made but simply heated up, it tasted and looked pretty naughty.

Excessive pre authorization fees. Microwave was not working. Need to have more room attention with trash removal and fresh towels provided more than 3 day interval although taken care of when requested. Could use more outside seating that is up kept and convenient.

Location was great, breakfast was good. Staff was friendly. Suite was clean.
