The resort overall needs updating. The pools were not being cleaned regularly. No music playing poolside

The check-in process was ridiculous. We got an email indicating that check-in was 4-6 pm. We got there at 4:55 and the registration desk was closed. The email gave us a code to get into the room but it didn’t work. I asked a security guard what we should do. He suggested we call the owner but we had no idea who the owner is. After calling several numbers I finally found someone who could give me the right code. This process took about an hour while my family waited outside the room in nearly 100 degree heat. Furniture in the room was old and shabby. One leg on the coffee table kept falling off.

Location right on the beach. Splash pool and lazy river was great for our 4 year old grandson.

Our accommodations were great. Very comfortable. Really designed for families with kids under 12.

When we arrived no one was available for us to check in or pickup parking passes. Got to our room and door codes would not work, had to call to get new codes. During our stay a stranger, who was staying in unit A was given aour door code and unlocked our door. We had to have our code changed. During our stay only one elevator in our Tower worked and we understand that the West tower only had one working elevator as well, causing long delays. Very aggrevating!!!

we had to wait on elevators more than 15 minutes the first 4 days of our stay. with two little kids that becomes a lot of added stress.

It was convenient to the beach and pool. everything is beach front. It is not near the tourist attractions.

Called about an hour before check in to see if room was ready. Was told no early check in. Called at check in time of 4 and told room was ready and given the room code. As we entered our room, cleaning lady was still working and said she would be about 30 more minutes. We had 3 families with children very tired from traveling. She did allow one bedroom to be occupied. After 30 minutes she said another bedroom was ready. 2 of our families were able to go to beach. We were not comfortable leaving all our belongings unattended, so one family was left behind. After waiting 3 HOURS AND 20 MINUTES, she finally finished. Needless to say a horrible start to our vacation. Beach was very crowded. Other than that we had a great time.

Spacious rooms. Great views. Watched turtles, dolphins, stingrays, and a manatee. Loved the beach. Location is nice and close to lots of attractions and restaurants.

From the pics and description I did think there was going to be a full kitchen and there wasn't so that was disappointing.

Long walk to parking garage. No convenient store on the property. No one enforced No Smoking on the property….some people were smoking on the beach and on the pool deck. Many kitchen items were damaged and lacking.

The room was clean and comfortable. The view from the balcony was breathtaking! The pools were fun and plenty for everyone. Short walk to beach.

We had bugs in our 1st rm and had to move to another room. It was ok. I had my 2 young grandsons with me and our door got closed with my phone in the room with our codes. Walked the halls and looked over an hr. for a security guard with Noone to be found! Had to go across the street to Alvin's Island and use their phone to contact y'all. Talked to 2 different women about our predicament and was hung up on both times. Another hr. had passed. Finally called for a policeman and finally one comes to the store. He said he knew exactly where the guards hide out!! He looked and looked and called and couldn't find any guards either!!! Finally a lady staying a few doors down from us said she had seen an emergency number down the hall on the wall. We walked and found the phone number and called it. Finally got a security guard that claimed he was walking the halls. He finally got our door unlocked, 3 hr. ordeal with 2 young boys with me at night!!! All we saw around the pools and beach were naked bottoms!!! Some girls looked completely naked from the back!!! My boys couldn't believe what they were seeing. There was people smoking in the garage and on the beach. Yall seriously need guards around pool areas at all times!!! There were rowdy people. I know they were drinking heavily also.

Lacking in some items that would have been helpful. There is a full kitchen but no dish soap other than the dishwasher detergent. It would have also been nice to have even 1 extra blanket.

We were mislead a little - no kitchen, washer/dryer or a few other amenities that were listed on website. The hallway was half closed with no explanation. The elevators are not sufficient for the crowds. There were two times that we waited 30+ minutes for an elevator. The room - no kitchen!!! very small even for a "studio". Shower curtain and curtain hangers were the WORST that I have EVER experienced. Mildew on the shower liner, bathroom fan NASTY, ceiling fan in room very dirty. TV was a joke (I know, who watches tv at the beach, 6yr olds!). NO Dishes for 4 people - 2 plates, 2 spoons, no coffee cups, no bowls. There was NO heated pool - hot tub closed. Lazy River was like ICE! We over paid by several hundred dollars for what we got!!

The Gulf Waters were beautiful!! That was the best part of the entire trip. 99% of the transactions were handled online. The property is showing its age.

This is the 2nd stay at Splash and my last! The first stay the elevators didn't work and this stay the elevators stopped working on Saturday (9/10) in the west building. No one wants to walk up or down flights of stairs with luggage, beach supplies and small children you have to carry. This is a children's complex is why we chose it as a family. You should have someone maintaining the elevators daily at such a large facility. And more access on the weekends when people are checking out. Again when checking out elevators taking 20 mins to get a ride. Check outs should be staggered. Will not stay here again and spreading the word to all. 703W needs a toaster that works and a cookie sheet pan for making toast since toaster doesn't work and burns your bread at bottom. As well as needing for cooking garlic bread, cookies, ect. And as much as the room cost. Beach chairs should be included in the stay for the amount of people the condo will sleep and as long as they stay. I didn't mind the price of condo for amount of time stayed but beach chairs should be included for amount paid. A few improvements need made: in kitchen equipment (need more silverware), need toilet worked on in master bedroom, sliding glass door in living room and kitchen table and chairs wobbly.

The room wasn't cleaned at all. Our first night and half of next day had to sleep and be in a dirty room cause we had no where else to go. Also, the pools had band aids floating in the pool, no staff to be found, the place was very dirty.

NO TOILET PAPER EVER RECEIVED! Had to go buy some. There was no place to put ice for our drinks in a miniature fridge! No cups for coffee and no kitchen utensils! Not enough towels! If I’d known we needed to bring all this stuff I could have brought it from home but instead we had to go out and buy it. I figured there was no reason to call or text you about anything because nothing was done with the 2nd and 3rd request for toilet paper so I let it go. I think 2 or 3 times is enough to request anything! I was very disappointed. When we mentioned the toilet paper and the rest of the things we were missing to the lady at the front desk, we were told to call the owner so that’s why I had to tell you I would not recommend Splash Beach Resort to anybody! Paying to park is ridiculous! Don’t understand that at all but we paid it anyway! 💜💜

I wish it was closer to more action as we drove down to it every day. We had to have the AC replaced while we were there and it was HOTTTT. Becky & Meredith we’re more than accommodating by buying us fans. But I wish it wouldn’t have been in the 100s so we weren’t so miserable.

It was a nice area and not super busy. The building was nice and clean everyday.

Had to wait over 40 minutes for an elevator to get the condo and after driving that is the last thing you want to do. The shower in the master did not drain. The ice maker did not work. The remotes for the tv had no batteries. The toilet in the master had to be plunged along with the tub and the sink in the hall bathroom. Not nearly enough seats at the pool people got there so early to hold seats and then you do not see them again till the come back from the beach hours later.

The food was good at the resort. The bed was comfy. I like that there was an Alvins.

Parking deck, did not know in advance that it was separated from towers. Elevators, not enough for the amount of people. Wait time for elevators was as long as 25 minutes. Maintenance issues, toilet backed up upon arrival, guest bathroom door closed and locked, took 2 days to get it back open.

The hotel was close to pier park and restaurants. The view.

The elevators are my only complaint. There are only two elevators per tower and it gets awfully crowded with 21 floors!

The room was great! We had a suite with four bedrooms! Plenty of space with two separate balconies! The rooms were clean. The kids enjoyed the pools and splash pad!
