Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United States of AmericaThe shower in Montejurra room was a little uncomfortable with the tub / shower combo but it got the job done and wouldn’t stop me from staying again.
Location was perfect, bed was very comfortable, staff were all friendly and breakfast was really great. 24 access to snacks and drinks in the don’t g room was nice. We slept really well. Coffee on the balcony in the morning was a plus. We weren’t aware of the paranormal stories about our room (Montejurra) until the following morning lol, but we had no paranormal experiences, thankfully. Would definitely stay here again.

United States of AmericaParking! I know for most parking off site isnt a problem but for those with a handicap issue those extra steps mean something. And I would rather have on the spot parking.
This was my first time staying at the Casa Del Solana and it wont be my last. beautiful , quiet and romantic spot right in the heart of the Historic District . Breakfast was delicious and the staff goes above and beyond to make sure you won't need anything. The courtyard is very cozy and a place to unwind, they also have happy hour and leave out yummy cookies for their guest.

United States of AmericaComplimentary wine and scrumptuous homemade cookies in the afternoon were much appreciated. Casa's breakfast was the best on our entire trip. Casa is an historic antique hotel so one must not expect "modern." That said, our accommodations were comfortable and the location in the old quarter very near the bay is excellent.

United States of AmericaThe property could stand to be updated and cleaned. I get that it is an old building, but the fixtures, drapery, and blinds were dusty and decaying. The parking situation is difficult as well.
A quaint B&B in the heart of historic St. Augustine. The bed was super comfy! The breakfast was yummy and we loved the cookies and coffee. The staff were so helpful and friendly. We were only there for 1 night so we missed out on so many of the offered amenities.

United States of AmericaIt is an older building. Some of the hallways are a little tight.. Especially in the stairway areas.. Parking is a bit of a challenge.. We really don't have many negative thoughts...
Location was right smack dab in the middle of everything, but the layout of the building and courtyard offered privacy and the feeling of seclusion.. You can be anywhere you want to go in the town in about a 5 minute walk... The staff was above and beyond what was expected. We have found our new place to stay...

United KingdomNothing, loved it all!
Beautiful old historic inn in the centre of the old part of the city, beautiful to look at from outside and retained all its wonderful character inside. I believe it’s the 7th oldest property in St Augustine. Loved the little lounge area and the free coffee and cookies which saved us on a night when we didn’t want to go out. We were in the smallest room but was perfect for us with a lovely bed and clean bathroom with bath and shower. Breakfast was really tasty and plentiful served with juice and coffee or tea and morning staff were lovely. We loved the hotel and wish we’d had a few more nights, will definitely stay there again if we return. Thank you Casa De Solana for a wonderful stay
