The locks on the front and back doors and the room doors are opened with a code rather than a key. A couple of times the lock on the entrance door and the room door did not work. After a number of tries, the room door finally opened, but the entrance door had to be opened remotely after we texted the proprietor. The locks should be better maintained.

The old house is lovely, with high ceilings, large rooms. My daughter and I stayed at the top of the house in a room with a second bed in an alcove; it was perfect for the two of us, large and charming. I love the slanted ceilings on two sides of the room. The location, a couple of blocks from Marietta Square, was a huge plus--a charming old square with a lovely central park area and good restaurants and cafes. I will stay here again.

The Inn was very quaint and quiet. The short walk to the square was a bonus. Meg could not have been any nicer.

Stanley House is a phenomenol place to stay. The room was super comfortable, the breakfast was amazing, and the staff was very friendly. From the beautiful patios and decorations to the Sleep Number bed and snacks in the room. We will return the next time we are in Marietta, and we will be telling our friends about it. Thanks for such a great stay.

Not their fault, but the train is very loud in the cheapest of rooms. They provided ear plugs and a sound machine to offset this. Parking lot is a bit tight for larger vehicles. Overall, great place to stay.

The house is adorable. It looks like the pictures and is easy to navigate. Check-in was one of the easiest I've ever seen! The breakfast was good and I appreciate the big table and being able to get to know other guests. The shower was small, but the temperature of the water and pressure were awesome!

Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. Excellent breakfast. Great location. Most of what you need during a short break is within walking distance. Safe and lovely neighborhood. Bed and bedding worthy of a 5* hotel. Historic setting makes for a welcome change to modern accommodation. Great outdoor patios.

It was a hot and humid weekend, so the AC was struggling some in the upstairs rooms but each room had additional cooling units which really helped keep the temperature from really getting uncomfortable.

The breakfast was delicious! Like so many places today they were short staffed at breakfast so it was a little slower but every bit as good. One of the great attractions for us is having the opportunity to meet and share with different people traveling from other parts of the world.

The breakfast was delicious and 🔥 hot. I liked being served rather than buffet style. And since my husband didn't make it to breakfast. They prepared a to go box with juice and coffee. Excellent service an accommodations.

Non working door locks. Kept us from using our room in the wee hours of the morning. Reason given: we upgraded the system today, might not work well for few days. No attempt made to apologize or compensate us for lack of room use.

The bedroom was noisy (train very close) and no way to darken the room. The bathroom was across the hall from the bedroom and the door didn’t shut all the way (or, lock). The water took 5minutes to get warm and the bathtub hot and cold faucets were mixed up. Also, there was no suitcase rack or way to elevate a suitcase without putting it on the bed.

The property is beautiful. It is a short walking distance to the town square. It is a gorgeous place for a wedding.
