Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

When we pulled up was a man yelling and cussing. Very unpleasant. Looks like the hotel is being updated. And have to get a TV remote when you check in and give bavk when check out. Fridge and microwave was filthy. Didn't have anyone cleaning the rooms on a daily basis.
Lady was nice and was a bunch of help. Made sure that our rooms were together side by side.

Mini fridge made a loud noise so I had to unplug. There was trash in the drawer on nightstand and under the big luggage table.........that's really only complaints I had
Everything was good bathroom was clean beds were made nice and they were comfy. Price wasn't too bad

It's a little out dated. And the rooms are kinda big and empty without alot of furniture... And I wish the beds/pillows were a tad softer. Although, I won't complain much because it is a hotel!
The staff are always nice when we come here. The rooms are normally clean & tidy. They make sure to exchange towels & whatever is needed everyday.

Rooms here don't have any coffee pots. Mini fridge and microwave are in the small bathroom vanity sink area. There was water all over the floor at the bathroom vanity sink area. This was due to the fact that the maintenance person probably doesn't know anything about appliances. The water came from the mini fridge that was constantly thawing out due to the door not being shut all the way.
It was easy to book the room 45 minutes before I needed it. Great location.

Towels were clean & rooms were clean - no lamps in room just overhead lights. Wash clothes were dingy looking. It's a old motel but was clean and employees were really nice. You get what you paid for.

We smelled pot on multiple occasions.
You get what you pay for. We stayed here 3 days prior to checking into our condo because the condo only allows 7 night rentals. The price was very reasonable.

There were cockroaches and the room was warm. The bathroom floor appeared dirty when we got there and someone else had a season packet under the bed that was never cleaned up.
The ice machine always worked. The staff were great at fixing the TV when it stopped working.

The locks on the door were so hard to open, we had to call over desk service several times and even they were struggling. I also wish the cleaning fee had been mentioned more clearly in the listing, or factored into the cost of the room instead of us hearing about it for the first time the night we checked in.
The location is awesome and the staff was very helpful. The room was pretty spacious as well for the price. The giant dollar store next to it was awesome, too. I enjoyed my stay at the Summer Breeze motel.

This is an old out of date place. But that's what we expected and they cleaned it very well and put fresh sheets on and ut was exactly what 110 dollars a night gets you. It was a decent location. The rooms are big. The bathrooms are clean. The place is what a motel is.

There was nothing really needing to be changed that I didn’t like.
Me and my husband really enjoyed the location of the motel. For the price it was very great, the staff was friendly, the room was decently clean, it was quiet and the beds were comfortable.
