The bathrooms need a bit of updating and there were some cleanliness issues with hairs in places they shouldn't have been. The staff wasn't the friendliness at arrival or check-out. To be honest, it felt like they didn't want to be there.

The location of the hotel, and the town of Manzanita is just perfection. You cannot have picked a better location or view. Cannot recommend enough for single or family travelers to experience.

location is everything! terrific room with a beautiful view, fireplace, full kitchen... couldn't ask for more. However, the staff was the shining star. They were wonderful, helped us solve a mechanical issue and sent us on our way. Thank you.

The minibar is missing. Manzanita has become expensive w.r.t food even in the off season. Too many boogie vacation home owners from the whiny city of Portland. They should be charged for their insufferable views on life and entitlement. Let the tourists who appreciate the views and ocean have a discount.

The Pacific Ocean was glorious with white capped waves pounding the beach. All within view from a couple of chair placed by the fireplace.

We have stayed at this motel many, many times over the past 25 years. It's basic, reliable lodging for a modest price in a FANTASTIC location directly across from the beach. Full ocean view, nice gas fireplace, good mini-kitchenette, and walking distance to all of downtown Manzanita. Lots of off-street parking, and an outdoor pool for summer.

The motel is situated on the beach. The rooms were spacious and very clean, especially the bathrooms. The room had a gas fireplace. The desk attendant was very friendly and helpful.

The location was right on the beach. The 2nd floor corner room provided lots of light and a fabulous room right on the main street.

Stay away from the 1st floor - people above make loud clomping noises when they walk and their toilet flushes and shower water are very clear.

Our room was right across the street from beach access, and the ocean view was spectacular. It's also very near our favorite Manzanita restaurants and an easy drive to Oswald West State Park which has the most beautiful beach in northern Oregon.

Could have used more seating (like a comfortable chair) for sitting and watching the ocean. Big storm came through and flooded the patio and water came into the room. Could use more than 2 random pots for cooking (like a skillet or pan?) Ice would have been nice as well.

Proximity to the beach and restaurants was perfect. The view was amazing. Parking was easy.

The sliding glass doors were a little different than normal wooden doors but understandable so you can get the view of the ocean.
