The only thing that was a little troublesome was that the "kitchenette" wasn't quite what we were expecting. We planned to make some meals at our cabin, and it worked for the most part, but it was hard to wash anything in the shallow sink.

The cabin was clean and cozy. It was a single room with two beds and a small table. The fridge was bigger than expected, and the property manager went out of his way to make sure we had anything we needed for our stay. He even went so far as to get us appliances we needed, such as a toaster, a spatula, and steak knives. Though the weather was a little chilly, we were able to enjoy walks on the beach, searching for petosky stones and the beautiful sunsets behind the Mackinac Bridge. Great location!

The only thing I didn’t like about staying in a cabin here was the parking situation.

The manager is absolutely awesome. He was really friendly and helpful! We had a cabin on the lake and the sunrise was breathtaking. Our cabin was clean and so cozy. Renting here was overall a really great experience!

The mayflies were a little annoying but really didn’t bother us. They were usually active in afternoon. But in the mornings and evenings they calmed down.

Martin was really nice. Put us in a newer cabin that was just Beautiful and was equipped with everything. Had a fire on the beach. Could see the bridge and the northern lights. He provided discount tickets to the island and even got us a shuttle. They have an indoor pool and hot tub. We definitely want to come back.

What can be said about a cabin on the beach. Our host (Martin) was the best. He went above and beyond what I expected. The location and the view of the lake were awesome. Planning to return next year.

We were right in the beach with amazing sunrises and sunsets! The room was cozy and warm for October and very conveniently located to the city area and the ferry!

Right on beach . Your own little cottage. Can see the bridge lights at night. Can get you ferry tickets right there and free shuttle to the ferry abd back. Very informative staff.

Can’t think of a thing

It was right on the beach. We weren’t facing the beach but we did enjoy spending time there. The cabins were spacious and comfortable. Everything was nice and clean. There are fire rings (you have to get your own wood), plenty of seating, and it’s close to town.

We absolutely loved our stay. We checked in late and the manager had the lights and the heat on in the cabin and when we got ther he ahead upgraded the one cabin to a beach front cabin for a very small fee. He also left the pool open a little later so that my son and i could swim after we unpacked. Yhe cabin was wonderful and clean. Lots of towels and shampoo and conditioners. It came with andridge and microwave and The staff was allvery sweet and the view was AMAZING!! We highly recommended this place and can not wait to visit again!!

We arrived late in evening. Manager was very accomodating. He had heat and lights on to make sure it was comfortable for our arrival after driving 3.5 hours in a rain storm.

Like the rest of this area, properties are WAY overpriced for what you get. Compared to the rest of the Mackinaw Area, this is decently priced. But it is rustic lake life living. I kept telling myself that and it was fine. Few electrical outlets to charge phones/tablets - fortunately I am a well prepared traveler who travels with a multi-outlet extension. Again, Lake Life Living.

The Cottage was as expected - Lake Life at its best. The cabin was right on the beach as advertised. Beautiful view. Office Manager gave us a great rundown upon arrival. He told us things we didn't realize we needed to know and did a great job helping us get the most from our stay.
