The Bella Ella is a charming place, warmly hospitable. The breakfast was hearty and delicious. I had come to the area for a wedding in Rochester. The Bella Ella was the closest place I found that didn’t increase their rates due to the solar eclipse during my stay, and it was an easy drive into the city.

Bed was comfortable but in a corner against the wall, which was hard for two people! There are LOT of decorations, which made moving around in a small space a bit challenging. Stairs are narrow and very steep. Also, no shades on windows, even in the bathroom. Yes, it's in the country. But, still... Truth is, it's an old farm house. Limited things can be done to make it as accommodating as possible.

Literally the only not positive thing I could say would be the deep clean was lacking: Everything was immaculate and beautiful except for some dust but who actually cares about that, seriously? It's an old house with lots of hard-to-reach nooks and crannies and we booked LAST MINUTE!

The house itself is so cozy and well-maintained. We loved the decor and general vibe! Felt like coming to my childhood home.

The house was quite dark, even during the day, so a little more light would have good. The light in the bathroom was not good for applying makeup and a box of facial tissues would have been appreciated. We were disappointed that we were unable to use the fireplace.

The house is charming and beautifully decorated. We were able to sit on the porch one night & just enjoy the fine weather & the sound of the crickets. We appreciated the included breakfast. We were lucky to have a friendly couple staying in the room next to ours.

The entrance was a bit hard to see at first, but communication about where to park was great.

The bed and breakfast was perfectly adorable and lovely. Room was comfortable, clean, and super cute! Breakfast was served at 8 am in a nice parlor with room to sit inside or on the porch and the host was able to accommodate my vegan guest as well. Communication with the host was excellent.

Bedroom was comfortable, but lacked outlets for charging phones. Breakfast was wonderful. We have no desire to go back to Canandaigua. It was too built up, It's not that we wouldn't return to Bella Ella, we just don't want to return to Canandaigua. We loved our dinner at Simply Crepes on the main business drag.

it’s so peaceful here! It’s such a wonderful escape with a lovely pond in the backyard and a perfect porch with rockers for the evening or for enjoying the delicious breakfast served! we love coming here as a quick weekend escape! It’s the perfect spot to retreat after a fun day in Canandiagua or Naples and the owners are just kind, exceptional people!

I found it far from everything.

Beautiful, old building, very well maintained and with a lot of homey touches. We had access to a fridge in our room which was convenient. Breakfast wasn’t fancy but it was delicious. We ate on the outdoor porch at the front of the house.

The room was upstairs with a window air conditioner that needed to be turned off when you leave the room, as well as all lights. All lighting is dim, which is okay but not for all people. This is not a handicap friendly home. My husband had a hard time walking on the stone sidewalk which was uneven and climbing all the stairs.

The location was great, very quaint and decorated nicely with antiques.

Quite warm in the room but host adjusted temp for second night. Hosts entered our room without us knowing while we were away. Bed was not as comfortable as hoped for.

It would have been nice to have been asked any dietary preferences in advance so breakfast could be adjusted e.g. for non-meat-eaters. And there probably could have been more power outlets in our room.

Breakfast was ample and lovingly prepared and presented. Also the host kindly agreed to provide it 30 minutes early to enable our earlier departure. The property has beautiful woodwork and fascinating decor and is squeaky clean.

It was very hot in the house.

The breakfast was relaxing and delicious. We had the living room to ourselves. There was plenty of choices, with a hot entrée, coffee, juice, fruit, etc.
