Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United States of AmericaParking is kinda expensive. I also was not able to get a room on the floor I had requested. There was a bit of garbage left behind in the room from the guest before us, but nothing too gross/dirty.
This is a good location, in a walkable area with pretty much anything you need nearby. The themed floors are also really cool.

United States of AmericaI was disappointed that parking wasn't included or at least discounted by the hotel. We paid ~$322 for a two-queen room and had to pay $42 on top of that for parking. I understand that it's downtown, but that's the most I've ever paid for parking in any downtown hotel. The bathroom was laid out strangely, in my opinion. It was small, and the toilet was squeezed in next to the glass shower. I am a bigger lady, and I found it awkward. It might be okay for someone smaller, but it was....challenging....for me. The price we paid for the room is probably average for a hotel located in a downtown area, however, I think it was a little too much for what you get. The novelty is cool, but not $300+ cool. There was an odd, sewery smell in a certain area on every floor. It wasn't overwhelming but it was noticeable. I forgot to mention it to the staff so it wasn't too bothersome and I couldn't smell it in the room. But it was there.
If you aren't paying attention like me, you won't realize this is a theme hotel until you arrive! My friend and I stayed on the 6th floor (Fun & Games themed) and were delighted to find PacMan wallpaper greeting us when the elevator doors opened. Each floor has a different theme; some are more "over the top" than others. We checked out each floor, and one of the coolest was the 13th...you guessed it, "Horror" themed. We encountered many other people doing the same as we were. The room itself was comfortable and well-appointed. The Fun and Games theme was more subdued in the room which was nice. The bathroom has Crabtree & Evelyn products that smell divine. Location is great. Right downtown and within walking distance to many fun things. If you have a car, there is a garage underground, however, the cost is not included with your room. The hotel is not what I'd usually book but it was a fun experience overall.

SwedenThe view from the window was not really exciting, but I didn't expect to much before I came... I am not sure I have so many other comments here.
The hotel room was ok, with facilities to brew coffee or prepare tea water. I was happy to find a small fridge in the hotel room - perfect if you want to experience American food that you choose directly when shopping at the food store (a short drive from the hotel with an Uber). I would be happy to return to this hotel later on. I received my room at bit after the checking in time, with an excure from the hotel personnel in the reception. No bit problem, but as a compensation I received a free meal in their bar... Thank you, Courtis hotel - welcoming attitude.
