Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

TurkeyA bit expensive for me (around 300 USD for a night), but Boston is crazy that way... There was no cheese for breakfast, which I found unusual.
Excellent room, cosy place, the owner was an animagus and turned into a chubby cat to prowl around - I loved it. Very home-like.

United States of AmericaAwesome continental breakfast with plenty of choices of breads, cereals, including a different homemade quick bread each day with awesome fresh fruit salad, hard boiled eggs, and yogurt. Loved having French press coffee. The innkeepers were available but gave us our space. We shared a bathroom with one other person which wasn’t an inconvenience at all. Very comfortable bed. Great location close to the subway into downtown.

United States of AmericaIt’s a house, so naturally you can hear footsteps upstairs if you’re staying in the downstairs room and people walking up and down the stairs.
The Morrison House is a beautiful old place, I felt at home there. We had access to a deck outside and we could not ask for a better location.

CanadaIt was slightly noisy as you could hear other guest moving throughout the house, eating breakfast and phones/doorbell ringing at odd hours.
The staff were wonderful and provided suggestions and assistance with travel advice. The breakfast provided was lovely, coffee/tea available any time. Location was close to the T subway for transportation into Boston. The room was spacious for my family of four.

IsraelA bit pricey, but this is Cambridge...
This bed and breakfast is great! Very cozy and with a nostalgic vibe. The room was spacious and comfortable and had everything I needed in it. It really felt like the hosts had thought of all the tiny details. The location is great, 1 min away from the T and davis square. The hosts were attentive and helpful. Breakfast is nice with a big variety and consideration of food restrictions. Highly recommend!

United States of AmericaI thought it was a great stay, the cat was adorable. Very clean! It was ideal for me since my only requirement was to be close to the T for ease of travel.
The location was really amazing, it was very close to the red-line and easily accessible. There were a lot of great restaurants nearby, convenience stores and shops too! Overall it was a great stay.

United KingdomIt was a little tight for 4 people in one room but we appreciate the availability of beds and we were happy to pay for only one room.
We had an excellent stay! The check in was smooth and the place was quaint and functional. The breakfast and daily baked goods were an excellent touch. The bathroom and shower pressure were great. A short walk (5 min or less) to the T. Some good restaurants and bars in the area but the neighborhood was quiet. We enjoyed chatting with the other guests over breakfast and it was clear some kept coming back to the same B&B and it was clear why! Would definitely come back. Thanks!

AustraliaNothing really. The whole experience was excellent and we are planning to come again when we return to Boston.
The do-it-yourself continental breakfast was excellent. With cereal, fresh fruit salad, yoghurt, toast and jam, and brewed coffee it was great But also the freshly baked cake-type treats were wonderful. Clearly, Morrison House has staked its reputation on spectacular breakfasts. The room was spacious, clean and serviced daily.

United KingdomPrice seemed high, given very small room and shared bathroom. There was perhaps an over-reliance on notices stuck to the walls, as I saw little of the hosts. Breakfast was only between 8am and 9am, though in practice it was possible to go down a little earlier; a hot option would have been good too.
The best thing was the location, just 3 or 4 minutes' walk from the Davis MBTA station, with good transport links into Boston. Local area had plenty of places to eat and good information about them was provided in the room. The room itself was a small single, but it was well equipped with a microwave and fridge, a desk and chair. Air conditioning was working well during very hot weather. Breakfast was good, though entirely self-service. Hosts had clearly given a lot of thought to guests' possible needs and things were well laid out and organised throughout the property, with a lot of information labels (possibly too many).

United States of AmericaWhile the hostess was pleasant and welcoming, the host was a lot less so, didn't even introduce himself as he came in and out during breakfast. While French presses are charming, a Keurig would have been a lot more convenient.
I loved the old house itself and it was in a convenient neighborhood in walking distance to the downtown and train station. It was air conditioned and comfortable on the hottest days of the year thus far. You could have eaten off the beautiful wood floors, it was so clean.

LithuaniaEverything was great.
The hotel is in a house which is run by a family. The rooms are spacious and you can feel that host though about all details, near the bed, is USB chargers and British outlets. Breakfast is served in the kitchen and it's quite interesting to sit down at one table with other guests. The hotel has an easy lock system which is based on your mobile number, the metro station is just around the corner which gives easy access to the city center, as well square near the hotel has pubs and restaurants. The surroundings are silent and calm.
