Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United States of AmericaThe parking lot was small with only one entrance that was also the exit. The a/c barely blew. The shower was very small. Price was a bit steep for a 2 star motel.
The beds were comfortable. The shower had decent water pressure.

United States of AmericaReading other reviews about the bed, I thought it couldn’t be too bad. But, yes, the bed is very, very firm. Which some people may like, I’d prefer softer, for my preference it was not comfortable, but it is a clean bed to sleep on. It’s probably the firmest mattress I’ve ever slept on. Which again, not my preference but I know some people like a firm mattress. The room was clean, but you can also smell the cleaner and seems to make the floors extra slippery when wet. I say that, to bring up the bathroom. The bathroom is a small area, the shower stall is very, very small. I would think a larger individual may actually really struggle with the size of the stall. But again, serves its purpose as a place to shower.
Good location. Clean. Safe. Friendly staff and others staying there seem friendly as well.

United States of AmericaThe bed was extremely uncomfortable and there was only a thin blanket on the bed, so it was chilly. There was also only decaf coffee in the room, so that was a bummer since we got in late and had to leave at 5 am to get back on the road.
The room was quaint and decorated cute.

United States of AmericaThe bathroom was cramped and the water pressure in the seemed poor to me. I'm not really a luxury person so the furnishings didn't bother me, but they could definitely use some updating. I can see how some people might be put off.
It's a funky little old fashioned motel, definitely not a luxury spot, but it's a safe, clean place to spend a night on the road. The bed was comfy the room was quiet. The room was value priced so I'm going to say that the furnishing were 'vintage'.

United States of AmericaThe walls are super thin. We could hear people the entire time. Talking, moving chairs around, going in and out their doors. I get a little house, but this was over the top. Probably wouldn’t stay here again for that reason. Room smelled a little stagnant and we had a small run in with some ants. But the town is cute and the hike was amazing, so we consider the trip a success.
Beds were comfy and soft, heat/AC worked great, water heated up fast, location was good, parking was easy.

United States of AmericaThe sound from cars passing outside on Line Street was very loud. I had to wear earplugs to sleep. There was also a gap under the door which I had to block with a towel. One of the light bulbs kept flickering and never turned on fully.
Refrigerator was quiet.

United States of AmericaA coffee maker & a microwave would be good. Room nice & clean but stairway getting there was pretty dirty with discarded clothing. Room great. Just need to clean up some outside. Also sink did not drain.
Location is good, right on Sysanville’s Main Street. Pretty basic motel but met our needs for traveling through town. It was clean, with comfortable beds, had a large tv, and refrigerator.

United States of AmericaAn issue that management couldn't control except to insulate walls better: the family in the room next to ours was extremely noisy, both upon their late arrival and again in the morning ~ with a whiny child or two.
Room was very clean. I liked the tile shower ~ proof that you don't need a large space for such!

United States of AmericaThe room seemed a little on the dark side during the day. There was not a lot of light at night but enough to see. Only one desk type chair in room. Rooms are close to a relatively busy street so noticeable traffic noise during day and evening but pretty quite at night. There was chairs and small picnic table in small grassy area in front of motel parking lot. Parking was a little tight for some spots at end of lot.
Rooms was clean. Beds were comfortable. Room had working microwave and refrigerator. Had tile on floor that looked like wood. Bathroom looked like it was recently remodeled with new sink and fixtures. Free wi-fi connected quickly and was responsive.
