Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United States of Americaour family had the condo room with the elevator. it was weird. it was honestly easier to just use the outside stairs than to wait for the elevator. but we didn’t spend much time in the room so we didn’t really care😀
the property was an amazing location…one block from the fishing pier and many restaurants and shops. we never had to drive anywhere! it was awesome! loved the vibe of the beach and the other guests were so nice. the pool was clean and the beach was just steps away. the staff was 100% accommodating and helpful.

United States of AmericaWe are 2 relatively tall individuals: I'm 6'2", 205lbs and my wife is 6'1". High level complaint but the bed just wasn't large enough for us to sleep comfortably.
Location, location, location. It is directly on the beach, where there is a huge coral reef about 100m off the shore- great for snorkeling. Front desk gentlemen (Bailey) was super gregarious. Hotel provided free snorkeling flags/floats; umbrellas; boogie boards and, located in the swimming pool area- about 30 very comfortable beach chairs (that you can take to the beach- for free). Room had a nice kitchen set-up (stove, microwave, large fridge, sink, dishes/silverware, cooking pans, et al), dining room table, sofa. Really enjoyed our 4 day stay here. Lastly- walk platz about a block from hotel with 20+ beach restaurants and fun shops (ice cream, dog/diamonds, beachie items, etc..).

United States of AmericaI was not completely happy with the bed. The pillows were fantastic and my husband had no complaints. For me, I would have preferred a softer bed but on the day before we left we found out that I could have asked for a mattress topper that would have solved my problem.
The staff was excellent from the staff at the desk to the mechanic to the cleaning staff. The room was excellent. We had a 1 bedroom with the living room, dining area and kitchenette. The kitchen was completely equipped with everything needed to prepare meals - but for the food of course. The room was exceptionally clean. There are 2 pools on the property that were great. BBQ's and a game area near on of the pools as well. The location was the absolute BEST. The Windjammer is right on the beach- no street to cross to get onto the sand. It's located in a nice quiet area that is within walking distance to everything. about 1-2 blocks away is the main strip I would say with several restaurants and bars for anything you would want to eat. Lots of outside dining and live music everywhere! Also on a different block just one block up were more restaurants, a Walgreens, a liquor store and more. This was ideal!!

United States of AmericaThe building is older, although the rooms have been updated, they are wall unit A/C, which keep you cool, but room feels damp once you have wet swimsuits and towels hanging around.
The location is perfect! Walking distance to the boardwalk area where many restaurants are located.

United States of AmericaThe only con with his property was the comfort of the sofa bed. We were booking a suite for four and the only one available was a one bedroom with a pull out sofa. We certainly didn’t expect it to be super comfortable, and frankly if little kids were sleeping on it, it would be fine, but it was particularly hard! But I even feel badly saying it was a con because I mentioned it to the front desk and they were so empathetic and brought me a thick mattress topper to help make it a little cozier… It did!
So many wonderful things… Starting with the front desk staff - they were so welcoming and friendly and supportive. Our flight ended up getting delayed. My college age daughter was arriving from a different city. I called the hotel to explain the situation and to ask that she was able to if not check in, at least be able to store her bag and use the facilities. They made her feel so welcome and had a room available way before check-in. Next, the suite had everything you could possibly need from all the kitchen supplies, a table and chairs to extra bed linens. And then you go outside and you’re staring at a lovely beach and a pool and some nice landscaping. You decide you want breakfast and you find a place close by (I recommend El Mar Café) and realize that you can walk along the beach to the pier and have a delightful breakfast. And as it happens, we were there to attend the Tortuga music festival at the Fort Lauderdale Beach Park. It was straight down A1A and was so conveniently located! (Traffic was a mess but that was to be expected :-) I can go on and on but this property is a gem! Considering the value and the fact that there are no hidden fees or resort fees or parking fees, it was such a good deal and truly blew my expectations away!

United States of AmericaThe sofa in this room, which is the same in most of the rooms, is the most awful, uncomfortable piece of furniture ever. No bueno! Replace it with something that does not feel like sitting on a rock! I don't understand the reasoning for uncomfortable furniture. Need bigger coffee mugs. Other than that zero complaints.
I've stayed here three times and really like it. While small and simple the rooms are very clean and well equipped. They even had coffee filters and a little space heater if cool at night. There was an issue one night with some clueless guests playing loud music at the pool and Bailey handled it quickly and professionally. The location is perfectly situated. The first two times I stayed here I ended up in rooms where the doors were basically almost on top of a designated smoking area, so if that bothers you like it does myself, it's something to be aware of.

United States of AmericaLocation, Location, Location! We had a wonderful stay at the Windjammer. It was the perfect place for our family of 5. The pools and pool areas were clean and provided hours of fun for our kiddos. And you just can’t beat the beach access. The walk into town was a breeze! We stayed in one of the smaller one bedrooms- the web description of the room was spot on so we were prepared to find it tight quarters. The room was clean and basic- but we didn’t go there to stay in the room so we were perfectly content with our accommodations! The sunrises were amazing! The town was festive with countless dining options. Check in and check out were seamless. Free parking was a huge bonus! We can’t wait to return!
