We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.

I think they bed was comfortable. The shower was very hot which was nice. Had enough water myself and my husband could shower in a row and not run out of hot water. I liked the location being at the ocean but not on the strip

I had to ask front desk staff for hand soap when I got there, as there was none. Could not get balcony door open. Carpet stained. Mattress soft. I was in a handicapped room on 8th floor 834.

United States of AmericaThe carpet was heavily stained. The bathroom is falling apart. The shower head couldn’t be moved so that the spray wasn’t always on you. The wallpaper is peeling off the wall. The hallway to get to Tower Room 313 was very hard to navigate with a luggage cart. The stairway immediately to the right of the hallway was very disconcerting and uncomfortable. It was almost like the wall beside it was opened up as an afterthought for access to the room down to Room 313. The “hot breakfast available” on the website is very misleading and totally my fault that I didn’t check to make sure it was a normal breakfast type bar as you encounter in most every other hotel out there. This was our first stay at the north end for the quiet, but on Wednesday morning, I went out on the balcony to breathe the sea air, but got a face full of smoke from the three guests on the balcony two doors down who were smoking pot. The whole stay was just disappointing all around.

United States of AmericaWas told that the pet friendly rooms were on floors 1&2. We were put on the 6th floor, and the carpet needed cleaning badly in the room. No pillows or towels were in the room upon checkin after 4pm. Went to front desk, lady only had 3 pillows and a couple towels; said more would be put in the next day. No room service next day, I had to go get more coffee at the desk. 3rd day, towels were changed and a full set left, no coffee or another pillow, no bedding changed. Had to go to the desk for coffee. Hotel too far from the Virginia Beach boardwalk.
Service at the restuarnt. Room temperature control was good.

United States of AmericaThe property is very worn. I mean, HEAVY wear. It can be confused with not being clean but it was clean. Everything just needs updated very badly. There’s mildew in the showers, mildew and water damage throughout the building. It’s just old and worn out. No trash can in the bathroom, just one tiny one in the room with no liner. Rusted fridge and microwave, sun damage and wear to the curtains and floor. Carpet is worn throughout the building.
The view is amazing!! Totally worth it to be able to look out at the beach. The check in staff was super friendly and everything seemed clean.

United States of AmericaOther than the bed being clean and comfortable, the rest of the room was very run-down and not very clean. The hallways were dingy and elevators were slow. We ended up taking a back elevator which was convenient but a little sketchy on function. Booked a ocean view room and did not get it.
Great location and easy access to beach. Bed was reasonably comfortable and had clean linens. On-site restaurant was pretty good.

United States of AmericaFront desk staff is very unprofessional. A class on hospitality and conflict resolution would be a major benefit for them. A manager being present on all shifts would also benefit in preventing future discrepancies when front desk staff is unable to handle basic issues. This has completely turned me off from this hotel chain as a whole.
