Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. AustraliaThere was a waterline of green algae around the pool however the pool was always clean so I imagine this was probably a result if the resort was closed during Covid.
Location and layout of the hotel is great. Beautiful lawn and gardens maintained daily. The range, amount and quality of the breakfast was exceptional. Despite the rooms being cleaned every morning, they would come to the room each afternoon to see if we wanted our towels replaced and also deliver some biscuits.

AustraliaThe pool was very warm; almost bath like.
The grounds are exceptional. The centre of attraction is the hotel pool. It is large and there's plenty of room to cater for all guests. The hotel provides a free shuttle bus to Hoi An twice per day. The proximity to a very nice beach. The staff are outstanding. Breakfast caters for all desires. I will enquire about the beachfront villas next time.. they looked beautiful!

AustraliaOnly very tiny issues - poolside drink ordering system is a bit slow, and free shuttle into town is infrequent (ride only costs a couple dollars).
It was exactly what we imagined and more. Beautiful decor. Nice f&b facilities. The breakfast buffet was great! Our room was so spacious with a lovely bathtub. The classic beach resort. All the staff were absolutely fantastic. Especially Thien -f&b attendant who was working so hard all the time and always smiling.

Great location, out of the busy Hoi An. Easy grab ride into Hoi An. Reception staff were amazing when I left two dresses behind. They organised them to a friend’s accommodation. So thankful

United States of AmericaWe had the 2 bedroom Villa with Partial Ocean View and wished I had a better view to take in the Ocean breeze.
I have stayed a few times in Hoi An and this was the best vacation and perfect location to be on the beach. We had a wonderful time. Coconut Man is amazing and went out of his way to make our trip memorable. I definitely recommend it. Also, thank you to the chef for the Grilled Whole fish that we requested 2 days in a row which is normally not on the menu. This is what service is about.

AustraliaGreat location, absolute beach front. Stunning villa with private pool and private beach. Very spacious ( literally huge! - bathroom is bigger than a living area! with fabulous bath). We were in villa 420. Very clean, attractively decorated with character. Restaurants are great, with a fabulous choice of cuisine. Above all, staff were very friendly and helpful making sure even minor needs were met immediately. Kids got extra attention from all the wonderful staff and they made sure kids enjoyed their stay. Family with children - I wiuld highly recommend this resort. My 'picky eaters' were very well catered for. Mr Thi ( calls himself the coconut man) is someone I must mention... Wonderful guy, made an extra effort to make sure that our stay was enjoyable. I noticed him doing the same for many other families in the resort. Was quite an experience for my family, especially the kids. Clearly, would rate 10/10 for families with children.

AustraliaMinor issues but they are the only reason it didn't get a 10. Booked 3 rooms and asked for them to be together. They were in the same block of rooms but 2 were upstairs & the other was downstairs at the other end of that block. We ordered room service one night and it did take a while to arrive and wasn't at the same quality as we had had when we ate in the restaurants.
Location and the facilities of the resort.

AustraliaLoved everything. One VERY minor issue we had was with the noise from the villa next door. They had their TV on until very late at night every night, and it was SO loud. Their TV must have been on the wall where our bed headboard was and it did make it hard to get to sleep. Obviously not much you can do about it…..
Fabulous property. We loved our beach villa, which had everything ( and more ) that we needed. HUGE bed, lovely large villa with a lovely outdoor seating area overlooking the grass and beach. Bar and restaurants in the property were good. Enjoyed our stay immensely 😀

United KingdomNo, amazing all around.
We booked to stay at Palm Garden for our recent trip to Hoi An. The hotel, rooms (we had a garden view 2 room suite) pool and beach were amazing. Staff were exceptionally helpful from booking airport transfers, day trip to My Son, Mr Thi harvesting coconuts for my children to try, Mr Vu working hard at the pool to keep us comfortable, the breakfast was delicious, the happy hours were fantastic. Can't fault it and we only wish we could stay longer. The beach was very clean and the grounds immaculate.

OmanNothing. Peaceful retreat.
Breakfast was excellent. Location great. Free shuttle into Hoian. Grab taxis easily available and safe. Staff are super friendly. Great ambiance. Beach bar staff in particular great laugh. Plenty of restaurants each way as you walk or cycle outside the hotel. Head towards the port and turn right, also plenty of choices and a good way to cycle if you want the hotel, cafes and bars route. Other way is more towards the paddy rice fields into town.

IrelandThe only negative and it’s a minor one is the wet room set up in the beach bungalow. The water from the shower really does go everywhere!
If, like me, you have read hundreds of hotel reviews, checked Google maps, read more reviews and still don’t know whether to book, I hope this helps! I booked Palm Garden and was still worrying right up until the day we arrived. However the minute we checked in I was instantly reassured that I’d made the right choice. The location of the hotel is fantastic. Right on the beach, 12 mins approx to Hoi An old town by taxi ( approx €1.50 in a grab taxi - definitely download the app) and its in a small village with restaurants & little bars 30 seconds walk away. The local restaurants also provide same day laundry service ( we got laundry done a few times and it worked out approx €6 for two big bags each time) The grounds of the hotel itself are really beautiful. Immaculately maintained and so clean. The pool area is better than I expected -really good size and the lifeguards, particularly Vu are excellent and so friendly. The beach is stunning. We stayed in a beach view bungalow and it was incredible to wake up to the amazing sunrises, listen to the sound of the waves and jump in for an early morning swim just a few steps away from your bed! There are also tennis courts, a small games room with a table tennis table, billiards table and darts, a gym and a little kids area with soft play- perfect places to escape the sun and heat with little ones. The website photos don’t do the place justice. I had been worried about building work that people had mentioned and there is a large hotel to the right as you’re looking at the sea that is under construction at present. We didn’t hear any building work during our 8 nights there and it didn’t impact on the views on the beach at all. If you’re concerned you could request a room/ bungalow on the other side of the resort though. The breakfast here definitely deserves a mention. It was the best breakfast in any of the hotels we stayed in during our three week trip.
