The hotel is a bit battered and worn, from the twin cyclones last year, so it's still undergoing repairs which is understandable. But the rooms themselves (which were not damaged) could use some update as they were quite dark and shabby looking.

The hotel is conveniently located to the location I worked from but not too far from the town centre either, ~ 10-15mins walk. The staff were superb, all so nice and accommodating. And the breakfast included was very nice.

WiFi signal strength and speed is very inconsistent across the hotel. Some areas are okay, others are unusable.

Moorings is well located, has nice rooms and good staff. Breakfast has a good variety, and the staff are on hand to help arrange trips/tours, additional amenities, luggage storage, taxis, etc. Enjoyed our stay!

Too ma y flies! Need some of those spinning 'shoo flies'on the tables. I thought there would be a nice sandy beach, but the little bit of sand was dirty and had broken glass on it. It would have been nice to have the light switch a d electric socket next to the bed. Service was friendly and efficient! I enjoyed the pool! The room was very clean, the bed comfortable.

The freshly cooked fish shaped pancakes were nice. Fresh fruit was good. The fruit salad too sweet. The coffee was nice

The WiFi connection strength varies massively across the site. Once connected the signal is fairly good (suitable for emails/light browsing), but often a challenge to get a stable connection inside the guest room.

We enjoyed our stay at Moorings - the room was clean, had good air conditioning and a comfortable bed. Staff were friendly and very quick to replace a broken light bulb, and helped us with luggage storage and taxis. Breakfast was nice with a selection of fruit, breads, and drinks. We also liked the location - easily walkable into Port Vila and good views from the pool/decking.

Moorings is located a short walk from the main shopping strip in Port Vila town. The walk in takes about 5-10 minutes along a picturesque stretch of the bay/harbour and Waterfall Nakamal. Tana Russet shopping and cinema complex is a few minutes in the other direction. Moorings staff were always friendly and available. It was pretty quiet during my stay.

The food at the hotel wasnt really good, but with many eateries just opposite the locatiin it wasnt really a deterent.

Location was perfect. The secenic sunsets and good happy hour prices. Rooms and beds were very comfortable. Walking distance to Port Vila city area with lots of eating options nearby. Pool was probably the best in the area and always clean. The deck around the prooperty gave it a real relaxing feeling.

Wifi can be slow, which made processing our credit card a little tricky. Sometimes noise was a factor, both from the road outside the resort and children in the pool inside the resort.

Loved the location: right on the water, next to the Banyan Bar for sundowners, convenient to the airport and an easy stroll along the waterfront into town. We took full advantage of the infinity pool and enjoyed the complementary tropical fruit breakfasts. The room itself was small (and the bed enormous) and while it was very simple it had everything we needed including a bar fridge, ceiling fan and air con. Staff are lovely. The property overall looks as though it's still recovering from the impacts of covid on tourism and could do with a refurb, but the price reflects that. Excellent value.

Pool was absolutely lovely but needs a grab rail at one side to help some people get in easier. I struggled and in my late 50s but there was also a couple in their 80s and it was so so hard them to get in and out

Breakfast - not many options as they didnt have eggs for example as you have to order at extra cost Room service - missed cleaning our room twice even though we asked the reception to let them know. And a couple of times they wouldnt fill the coffee/sugar or put soap bars in the room. We had to constantly ask at the reception. Dinner - if you want to order food to be delivered to your room they charge extra (500 vatu)

Location is convenient. Very close to the city centre. Hotel is straight on the waters so thats a plus. Has a pool (for people that like pools) Their dinner menu was really nice and plates werent small at all

Great location and easy, level walk into town. Bus at door step, restaurants and bars very close by if not eating or drinking at the hotel. Excellent pool and was always very clean. Staff were friendly and helpful. The only down fall would be the tropical buffet breakfast which we found to be underwhelming.
