The access to the reception and rooms is via a flight of 10-odd stairs. It would be nice if they could make the hotel more accessible. There is a possibility of adding ramps to the reception and restaurant from the courtyard - a much needed requirement for guests with mobility problems.

The hotel has exceptional views, very good breakfast, and excellent staff. The bed was huge and extremely comfortable. Loved walking around the hotel and dining here.

Check in was fabulous. We were treated like royalty when we arrived. The staff were all friendly and helpful. We had a lovely big room overlooking the vineyard and the mountains in the backround. We had some lovely meals and wine here and enjoyed the overall ambience of the place.

The water would get cold very quickly.

It was so peaceful, so calm and everyone was so friendly. The staff at the reception went the extra mile to find tours for us. It was a lovely stay!! definitely recommend. The view was just breathtaking ❤️❤️❤️

our stay in Asara was so disappointing. 1- It start with the e-mail confirmation - At the email they wrote all of our credit card info, we asked them to delete it because it's not safe that all of our details are online. And when we arrive we were surprised to see that they printed the email with our credit card number although we ask to delete it. 2- We asked for laundry service. We had maybe 3kg of laundry. When we got our laundry back we where shocked to find out that they charged us - 2,690 rand (!!!!!), 150 us dollars (!!!!!) We thought that it must be a mistake, it's not reasonable to pay for few t-shirts and socks almost the same amount as night in the hotel. 3. The pool..... We went to use the pool and the water was so dirty and murky, needless to say that we didn't enter - We didn't want to take a health risk. Very disappointing that we paid for facilities that couldn't Be used. So for conclusion, We couldn't celebrate our honeymoon in Asara in a proper way. When we tried to talk to managers we got no solution for our issues. Not recommend.

attention to detail. aircon average at best, plug to kettle broken, plug to coffee machine not working. entrance lights not working. amenities not replenished.

This hotel is definitely not 5-star nor worth the price. We got to the hotel and had to wait an hour for our room, even though it was 7pm. When we got allocated a room, the bedding was completely wet so we had to get moved an hour later to another room. In the new room there were so many mosquitos and all the hotel could provide was Doom. We had also asked for a bathroom with a door, but was given an open bathroom - this didnt work for us as the 2 persons sharing were not related. The breakfast spread was terrible, and menu suggestions below average. The breakfast staff were very unfriendly. The lunch salad was gastly, and I left half of it. Plus lastly the hotel charged me 3.5% of the fee because I used my AMEX card! Will never return, SPIER is so much better!

The location and views are just about the only good things about this hotel.

It was quiet, Warm, Organised. I didn’t have to call and ask for anything everything was in the room. We managed to have our quiet time. It was also very close to the airport. Everyone made our stay easy. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The food was awesome especially the pizza, I really loved it.

We could not buy the small size bottle of wine when we were checking out. It’s perfect for my hubby and I as we love going out for picnic dates…one glass is sufficient so that sized bottle is a great idea. please reconsider your policy and make the small size available for the public.

We loved the stunning views and restaurants, the complimentary bottle of wine was delicious.
