Breakfast was okay but I bealive there are rooms for improvements. Location was great. I was happy with many things.

I was a little disappointed with the breakfast. Very limited choices. Didn’t like the fruit selection and the way it was chopped so small. Also lack of cereal . My husband likes to have a choice of cereal and didn’t appreciate the only one was already added to yogurt. Staff were a little standoffish. Also first morning you couldn’t here yourself for loud music

It was lovely and quiet with a beautiful view. The room was nicely decorated and very comfortable. We loved sitting on the balcony listening to the waves.

The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, especially Siya at the front desk. The hotel is beautiful and right next to the ocean, it was unfortunate that I visited out of whale season, but I'm pretty certain that you can watch the whales from the comfort of the hotel or just walk across the road. The area is very safe, so you can even take a stroll to the local stores. It felt like a home away from home, the room I stayed in was very spacious, with beautiful decor and views. They have the most charming restaurant which serves breakfast, lunch and dinner - you can see the ocean from the restaurant as well. There are many facilities onsite, including a lounge, reading area and cinema where you can request movies and sit back with popcorn for as long as you like. They also offer activities out of the hotel like tours. All in all, a very gorgeous family run hotel with the most efficient staff, in the most beautiful location.

Fantastic hotel, mixes modern facia with the old, beautifully done, the owners, very hands on and approachable, the staff were very friendly and helpful, and the room, 106, was superb, and position A1. Breakfast included, in the Heritage restaurant, was great, and the staff there were also very good. Overall if I could have given them a score of 20 instead of 10, I would, as it was a fantastic experience, we love Hermanus, been there many times and would fully recommend a stay in Misty Waves

Have no complaints at all, will definitely recommend this beautiful boutique hotel to my friends, a wonderful stay for a weekend.

The staff was friendly and we received a warm welcome on arrival. The room was clean, airy, and spacious. The view was breathtaking. Love our stay. the breakfast was well displayed and the presentation was excellent.

Beautiful modern room in a superb hotel - the upstairs lounge has fantastic views for sunset. It’s a short walk to town and opposite Ficks pool, a great place for cocktails and tapas. The staff at the hotel were excellent and ensured we had everything we needed, particularly reception who had us settled quickly into our room and answered all our questions.

The decor of main public areas was very old fashioned which gave an impression of dark/gloomy interior which wasn’t far on the place as it’s really a lovely hotel

Restaurant was closed most of our stay with limited pool attendance for drinks etc. Had real problems prior to stay with scamming emails asking me to pay again for the accommodation. Telephone in room didn’t work and although reported was not fixed.

Room and view were very nice. Not too far from the town with a nice walk to and from.
